Director Martin Scorsese wanted a Viva Las Vegas look for his gritty film, but he quickly discovered that Vegas style is constantly in flux, and many area casinos had updated to pared-down ultra-modern looks. Seeking that classic feel one that evokes an era of high rollers and peerless celebrity performers led his production team right to the Riviera.
Riviera Hotel was one of the only pet-friendly hotels on the strip, they provided a plastic mat, food water dishes, and dog treats. You had to inform in advance if you were bringing your pet, as they had a few regulations for the comfort of the guests. Designated Classic Rooms were designed to bring up to two dogs per room.
Rivera Hotel & Casino had a wide array of cuisines and menus to cater to every taste, from a food-court to an affordable fine dining steakhouse. The extremely popular Las Vegas style buffet was the best value on the Strip. This premier Las Vegas restaurant offered an intimate dinner setting for that special occasion.

So, this review is for the new show at the Westgate. I think it's called Wild Magic now. Dirk Arthur is well known for his animal shows, however recently he's stopped with the big cats, and has re-tooled the show for smaller, more traditional illusions. This is in keeping with the reduction or elimination of large animals in shows, the same way that Ringling Brother's took elephants and other animals out of the circus.
Unfortunately, Arthur's show was very poor. He has little stage presence on the smaller Westgate stage, with the smaller illusions and close-up magic he
