February is National Children's Dental Health Month and we have to give HUGE shout out to Dr. Kirsti Turella! She visited nearly 600 elementary school kids this month, volunteering over 23 hours with her fun, educational and interactive presentations. She is a tireless advocate for children's oral health and are thankful to call her part of our team!

This place is awful at customer service and the owner, Irwin, is not a good dentist. I was a customer for some years when I got some work done on my teeth. I went back after a few days as I was in considerable pain. He came in and insisted I would pay to have my teeth looked at even though what was done on my teeth earlier had led to this pain. Then he told me very rudely that he was terminating our "relationship". What relationship? How unprofessional and uncouth. The guy is a joke and is greedy, inhumane, and incompetent.

This dentist was an awful awful experience. I had braces put on and my teeth were PERFECT before visiting this dentist. I have a permanent retainer for my bottom teeth and my retainer had two metal things sticking out in the front for the rubber bands. My orthodontist was going to grind them down. Unfortunately, he passed away and was unable to do so. While visiting Irwin dental for a cleaning and other work- I had asked if they could grind them down. They said they wanted to remove and replace. Hesitantly, I agreed. I let them no my concerns and I was told not to worry and that it would be put

Great experience. I am a new patient and haven't been to a dentist in over eight years. Becoming a new patient at Irwin has been perfect so far. Easy to fill out forms online... Follow up emails... and phone calls with easy to talk to staff. A comfortable environment to come to. From check in to check out I was treated by friendly staff, easy to talk to and giving me good information about my treatment. This is a class act.

My first Peninsula dentist was Dr. Lonnie Riggs--27 years ago. I stayed with him as his practice merged with Dr. Irwin, and Dr. Irwin continued my care after Dr. Riggs retired. When necessary, he's replaced fillings, performed root canals, installed crowns--always with excellence. And Twyla has been excellent, and fun (!), doing my 6-month cleanings. My late wife was also a very satisfied client.
After a COVID-induced delay, I returned this week for my usual check-up. As an older adult with 2 pre-existing conditions, I was quite pleased at the thorough and effective hygiene measures taken

I have been seeing Dr. Irwin for over 15 years. His practice has grown but the care remains exemplary. I've had three crowns over the years and Dr, Irwin did an excellent job. You can't even tell, unlike my previous crown. My kids have been seeing pediatric dentists up to this point but at age 10 and 13 we decided to move them to Irwin's office. Without prompting, my older son stated "Well, that was a lot better!" My sons felt like the staff were respectful and didn't talk down to them. They truly appreciated the clear communication and liked being treated as valued

Great dentist! In a couple of VERY affordable appointments, they took x-rays, examined my teeth, cleaned my teeth, and installed a new filling in a cavity. Dr. Irwin was professional, polite, and explained everything to help put me at ease. If you don't have dental insurance, check out their IDC program for pretty amazing money savings. I'm happy to have found this place!
