Palm Ave Motors worked with my insurance company make my auto repair process quick and painless. Communication from Jeff was timely and the shop sends text message status updates regularly. I had a true five-star experience at Palm Avenue Motors. I found them via my insurance company, AAA, as they are a preferred partner. I received a prompt response to my initial inquiry for a quote on some body work to my Hyandai Elantra. They were able to get me in fast and turned a quote around for me quickly. Someone backed into the front of my car, and the other party's insurance sent me to Palm Motors for the repairs. I was encouraged by all the positive reviews on Yelp, and had a similar great experience. Very knowledgeable and top notch customer service. They were able to complete the estimate and schedule the repairs quickly. I really liked how they use Carwise to text regular updates on progress, with photos, and appointment reminders. It's never fun to get your car hit, but Palm Motors definitely made getting the repairs done as painless as possible, and did a top-notch job!

Rear bumper replacement due to drunk hit and run driver. Thankfully was able to take pics and videos quickly after showing everything. AAA being my insurance provider I knew I had nothing to worry about. Start to finish as well as the auto body shop! Palm Ave is the premier auto body business here in San Mateo. Everything was smooth sailing, communication on point, customer service was outstanding. Coordinations with hertz literally had a rental waiting for me and left there for pick up.

Palm Ave Motors was recommended to us through our insurance because we were in an accident. They did the work promptly, were great communicators, but that's not why I'm giving them a 5 star review. After a week or so, I really wasn't 100% satisfied with the work they did, so I gave them a call, explained the scenario, and was hopeful they'd give us a discount, but they actually did the work for free because of their guarantee! Even if the labor had cost us more, their understanding, empathy, and willingness to make us 100%+ satisfied is what earns them high regards in my book

I'm writing this review on my behalf of my boyfriend who took his car in to get this bumper replaced because I was very impressed with this body shop!
He took his car in on a Thursday at 11AM and was contacted the next day at 2PM to pick up his car. Throughout the short process, Jeff was very professional and communicative. He even sent us a photo of the bumper to notify us that the parts were available. Not only did they replace the bumper in a short amount of time, but they kindly removed a bunch of sap that was found all over my boyfriend's car. We had previously taken his car to

It was a minor accident with damage to the door and front fender. Repair took 4 days. The car is silver and they did a good job of blending the paint. The alignment of the door was off causing a wind noise when driving. Brought the car back for realignment. But the big issue is getting the car back with a non working radio. They said it wasn't covered by the insurance claim. Ended up taking to another shop and got it fixed.

I am thrilled to write this review. Driving to work with my wife, my car temperature shot way up (water pump went out is my guess), I had to pull into a busy parking lot and wait for a tow to Towne Ford as the car is still under warranty. Pretty annoying morning!
The tow truck driver, Mo, arrived exactly at the time quoted to me. He was very pleasant and accommodating. He said I could wait in the cab of the truck and listen to music or whatever while I wait. I'm compelled to write this review as I was so impressed.
My car ran over a spike and got a puncture. After waiting 2.5 hours with another provider, Maurice from Palm Ave motors turned up in just a few mins.
By then I was pretty frazzled, but Maurice was fantastic - fast courteous and helpful. Once the spare was on, he even followed me to the gas station and we checked the spare was functional and even found the spot on the tyre where the puncure happened.
That's what I call above and beyond. 10/10 guys!

One of the best things automotively that's ever happened to me was coming to Palm Ave Body Repair on Palm Ave. The work was fast and efficient and Jeff was knowledgeable, friendly and got us a car rental right away. They gave us the car back far cleaner than we gave it to them. Before we came to Palm we checked out two other places that were far from satisfactory. I won't hesitate recommending Jeff and company.

I wanted to highly recommend Palm Motors with servicing my vehicle after being involved in an accident. My son who works as a mechanic at Big O' Tires and my insurance agent at AAA both recommended them to me. The service was excellent, they kept me updated with the service by sending photos and e-mails of my vehicle through out the process, allowed me to leave my rental car so that they would take it back for me and came to pick me up when I needed a ride. I will definitely go back to them for any future needs and I'm so thankful for the job well done!

My car was parked at Bridgepoint Shopping Center and when I returned there was a big dent in it. I have never filed an insurance claim before so the whole thing was a new experience to me. Let me tell you - Palm Avenue did an excellent and outstanding job.

One of the advisors Mike, helped me from the beginning and was nothing but nice and super helpful. In fact, everyone I came into contact with were all super nice and extremely approachable. I really appreciated that and I will definitely be referring people to them after the great experience I had.

My boyfriend and I have both brought our cars here for moderately small jobs. My back passenger side door and bottom panel were dented by a neighbor's kid with a go-kart and it's like it never happened. My boyfriend's poor 22 year old Saturn's front panel above the wheel had received a pretty big crack after getting backed into, and it took them about week to find and get the replacement part and another few days to get it installed. Wow. Just rude. Met the tow truck driver today and he was super rude to us. After my quick interaction with him, I wanted nothing to do with him nor Palm Ave Motors. I told him I wasn't interested in working with him any longer. Then he got even more pissed off and took off in his truck swerving through multiple lanes of traffic.
The garage might be ok, but just don't get a tow or any service from these guys.
