I have always been passionate about helping pain sufferers accelerate healing and reclaim a well balanced life. I graduated from Marquette University in 1999 with my Master of Physical Therapy degree, and I have worked as a PT in Illinois, Wisconsin and California. Though I loved my work, I was bothered by the fact that many clients found only limited success with traditional therapies.
Choose to attend these Active Learning Workshops led by Physcial Therapist & Movement Expert Emily Yenor. These classes are designed to allow participants, of all ages and ability levels, to experience gentle, restorative movement activities and learn how the body works. Learn self care techniques, muscle isolation activities, and restorative movements to take care of your overworked feet.

I went to Emily to try a non-invasive treatment for frozen shoulder. My ortho had told me to prepare for 12-18 months for recovery, and I'm not that patient!
Emily's methods and treatment led to remarkable results. I was moving again with reduced pain in weeks--not many months.

Emily was my 2nd physical therapist after an accident and helped me immensely. Her exercises took minimal time but were very effective. Her approach is unique and the mat was extremely beneficial for me. She helped me gain strength back and I don't know where I would be without her. She's passionate about her work and dedicated to her clients. I can't stress enough how wonderful she is. I would highly recommend her for anyone struggling with issues or for those just wanted to feel 100%.

Emily knows the human body and how it moves. Being a personal trainer and living an active life I need to be able to move efficiently and pain free and she has helped me with both of those things! I highly recommend Emily not only for her knowledge and expertise of how the body moves, but she is a great person, extremely friendly and goes out of her way to help you reach your goals.

As a distance runner, soccer referee and golfer, I would end up at a chiropractor 3 or 4 times a year to have my hips adjusted. Emily was able to identify the muscles that needed to be activated and/or strengthened to keep my hips in line and provided me a set of exercises to activate and strengthen the muscles to hold my hips in place. I have not been to a chiropractor in over 8 months. When my hips do start aching, due to over exertion or doing too much of some activity I'm not used to, I am able to self treat, with an increase in the frequency of doing the exercises. Emily is truly a master

I had a nagging low back injury that I'd been dealing with since high school softball, through three babies, 2 marathons, multiple half-marathons and triathlons. After multiple tries with chiropractors, Orthopedics, pain specialists, massage therapists and traditional physical therapists, I was recommended to try Emily and MAT by a friend and chiropractor.
