Little LYNC Preschool & Family Center was established in 2011 in the Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. We believe that every child possesses unique qualities, which makes them individual learners. At Little LYNC we recognize each child's developmental needs and foster his or her own growth and independence.
Our center is a nurturing, creative environment where they can learn and explore. Our curriculum is play-based, strongly influenced by the Reggio-Emilia approach. According to this philosophy children learn by investigating their environment, hands on experiences encourage critical thinking skills and peer cooperation.

Services
Our teachers recognize areas where children excel and will provide positive reinforcement for these accomplishments. Just as important teachers will also address areas where children may need more attention, in this case one-on-one guidance can be given or the child can be paired with children who are strong in the area.
When looking to enroll your child in a program most parents can find it overwhelming to begin looking at facilities. Where do you begin and what are the differences in each program? There are 5 main differences to consider when choosing your child care option. A Day Care is a facility where parents can have their children cared for by professionals for most if not ALL of the day and tend to offer a year round program.
You will notice that Little LYNC has elements of both, but we possess more characteristics of a Preschool and identify ourselves as one. Little LYNC fulfills 2 of the 5 criteria of a Day Care, which is our operating hours and our willingness to accept children in diapers or children in the stages of toilet training.
A: No-peanut butter and other nut products are not allowed at Little LYNC, due to the amount of children with nut allergies. Please do not pack any nut products in your child's lunch. When we have potlucks at school please do not bring any dishes with nut products. For those children who like PB & J, try Soy or Sunflower butter, which tastes similar but is made without nuts and is safe for those with allergies.
It has been a great learning experience opening a new facility and I'm glad to say that as the years have passed we have been able to develop a strong preschool program to serve the families of Potrero Hill. Although we are a small center we have a great environment that promotes exploration and learning.

My child attended Little Lync for close to two years. My child loved the other kids at the school and the teachers at LL. The teachers are wonderful, amazing, and loving. The owner Tim (who lives nicely in Italy on tuition dollars) runs and operates the school as a business. There is no care or regard for the children and their families. Sadly she is more focused on her lifestyle & making a profit than she cares about the teachers and families of the school. Our children are never put first and this has become clear as we all felt with the impacts of COVID.

Amazing teachers. Sophin was my kid's 2 year old teacher and she is a toddler whisperer! But all the teachers are amazing, so caring, and the kids love them. My kids sometimes doesn't want to to home when I come to pick her up. Also, the families are the most diverse that I found I the city, which was important to us. Absolutely love Little LYNC!!! So happy we found them!

I had given this review before I found some stuff out.. This place is getting better and better now that Tanya is leaving her mark on the place. All the staff do a great job with the smallish space.
How ever us and every other parent I’ve talked to who has left little link feel that it’s impossible to leave this place without getting ripped off.
3 months notice and she’ll still do you hundreds of dollar.
So sorry to the wonderful staff for leaving a bad review. The place is good it just feels like we’re subsidizing a average vineyard in Akaroa New Zealand.
Nice place we’re from there

Little LYNC is a true gem, a small, intimate learning space that nurtured my child and respected his needs. The staff were loving and cared for him, and made us feel like a big, happy family. He was excited every day to go to school and we cant thank them enough for giving him the confidence and support he needed to graduate and go onto kindergarten. Thank you for everything! We look forward to having the new addition of our family join you when he turns 2!

Terrible business practice - gave us an acceptance in writing!!!, we sent a check, hand delivered a second check. They said the never received it or our app fee which was paid online to KidAmit. Then gave our spot to another family even though they promised us the spot through the week and the check was in their hands. BAD BUSINESS for our local community. I will be spreading the word.
