Furthermore, we understand that it is not always possible to attend a service or a visitation in person. In light of this, we've created beautiful interactive online tributes to memorialize your love one. Leave a condolence, share a memory, post a photo, light a candle, and more! The dedicated and supportive staff of Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home are here to guide you through this difficult journey.

Services
At our funeral home, we understand the importance of family. We believe in treating your family as we would our own. To do that, it's best you know a little about us first - please explore this section so that you may learn about our beautiful facilities and our history of service. We stand behind our reputation and will continue to serve our community with the values instilled by our funeral directors.
The Sullivan Funeral Home is a family owned business that has been serving those in need for over 90 years. The original Sullivan Funeral Home was founded in the Harvard Square section of Cambridge in the 1920's by Lawrence E. Sullivan. The Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home was established in the town of Burlington in 1958 by Edward V. Sullivan and his wife Theresa.
Visiting hours or a private family viewing followed by a service at the funeral home or in your church. Services conclude with burial or cremation. We offer an array of cremation options. Traditional visiting hours followed by a church or funeral home service can be held (with a rental casket) prior to cremation.
A loved one's passing often leaves us feeling adrift. While most elect to hold some type of memorial service, the breadth of options available can be overwhelming. We want to make it easier. We are here to help you create a service that befits the life of your loved one. This section contains useful information about funeral options, what to do when death occurs, information on writing an obituary, and recommended funeral etiquette.
Whether a death is sudden or expected, the loss of a loved one is indescribable. When you are in a heightened emotional state, even the most basic decisions can seem staggering. This section seeks to guide you through the immediate hours following a passing. If the person was not under hospice care, the police will have to be notified immediately.

My family and I cannot say enough about the personal service and care provided to us by Janet and Kevin. They are amazing at making a difficult process feel seamless. Our services were private yet they went out of their way to make everything personal, professional and exceptionally caring during a sorrowful time. Thank you to the Sullivan Funeral Home and its staff for helping us work through the sadness and bringing light to celebrating the life of our Uncle
