Be careful with this property management company, Corridor Property Managment!!!! They had a unit listed in TWO different places (their own WEBSITE) and Facebook marketplace for $1335 a month when they were going to charge me around $1580 a month! I applied and specifically picked the $1335 floor plan and paid the application fee plus a “service fee”. Luckily, they said they are going to be refunding my fees....

I am only giving them one star because the staff in the main office were nice and professional.
When we first moved in, our carpets smelled like mold. Becky, the maintenance manager told us that it was because of the carpet cleaner. I have my own cleaning company as well as head the house keeping at a large local hotel. I know the smell of mold in a carpet. This smell stayed the entire year we were here.
When we did a walk through of the apartment with Becky the day we moved in we noticed our linen closet was broken and would not shut. She told us that she would put the work order in right then

I have lived at Tamarlane for the past three years and have loved it. I have two large dogs and this apartment complex is very dog friendly (pretty much everyone has a dog and they have a private dog park). It is hard to find dog friendly apartments in Portland so I am grateful for this place. The leasing and maintenance staff has always been wonderful and very prompt to answer any of my questions or requests. My apartment is very nice and reasonably priced for Portland. Safe neighborhood. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to my friends, especially if they have dogs!

A bit of advice: if you're looking for a reasonably-priced, safe, comfortable place to live...this isn't it. We lived there for a year and were horribly price-gouged. They will squeeze every penny they can from you and then some. The walls are paper thin with poor insulation, so if your neighbor has a baby and a dog, like ours did, forget sleep. It was something you did before you moved in.
The place was cheaply done, outdated, and falling apart. During the winter the roof leaked all over our stuff in the guest bedroom and closet. We called maintenance, and when they came to inspect the damage

My husband and I have lived here since June, 2016. We love it and find the staff responsive to maintenance requests or any other concerns. It WAS very expensive at move in time with all of the different charges, but we hope to recoup some of that should we ever move. Also, rent increases are a good $60 each year and I'm not sure we can do that indefinitely. Only issue weve had on an ongoing basis is, in spite of frequent flyers and emails laying out the snow removal policy, the same people seem to always leave their vehicles in the lots because while the policy states that violators will be towed

Overpriced dump. The carpets are disgusting/old, fake wood floors in the BATHROOM, and cheap appliances. Told the office we were going on vacation, and they INTRUDED into our apartment to “check on our heat” when we told them not to and that it was taken care of. When moving out they make you replace petty equipment, such as drip pans on their stove. They charge you to professionally clean their nasty carpets for the next renter, which is ridiculous. There are two sources of heat (baseboards and unitil) and our electric bill was over $200 a month because they couldn’t figure out we were using

This is the absolute worst place to live in Portland. The staff is absolutely ridicolous. The apartments are over priced. The management will try to get you with any charges possible. If you're a student or anyone in that case there are much better places to live in Portland for cheaper and better. Just read the Yelp review.
