We hired Gava D's to provide smoked ribs, rib tips, cole slaw, pulled pork, moink balls (my personal favorite), and jalapeno poppers.
The food arrived on time in the quantity specified and was a huge hit with our guests. I used Gava D's Catering for my wedding in June of 2017. I had such a great experience working with Elliot. He was so helpful, easy to work with, prices are very very reasonable for both the amount and quality of food that we received.

Absolutely amazing BBQ, and that's on top of their amazing service.
I hosted a wedding this past weekend and my guests couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the food from Gava D's BBQ. We had shredded chicken, beef brisket, ribs, beans and mac & cheese. All of which were amazing! Oh the BBQ sauce? To die for!

By far the best pork spareribs I've ever had, just mouthwatering and decadent. Everything they brought was just amazing. The food was so good my burps were delicious, I wanted to eat them back up! In all seriousness, aside from the food being delicious the service was outstanding. Elliot was on time and just a joy to talk to. The setup was beautiful and clean. Couldn't of asked for more, they far exceeded my expectations.

Can't say enough about Gava D's. What a great experience this was. The food was absolutely delicious. I think every guest commented on how good the ribs, chicken, and brisket were. The sides, we had coleslaw macaroni and cheese and beans were outstanding!. I usually don't eat macaroni and cheese and I couldn't stop eating it. Elliot and his family were very easy to work with, prompt, and very professional. My only complaint is that there weren't enough leftovers because everybody kept going back for more. Highly recommend them.

We worked with Gava D's to cater a wedding rehearsal dinner. The food and service were both excellent. Everyone at the event gave positive comments about the food. We had some left overs which Elliott and Tricia packaged up for us. The wedding party couldn't wait to get to the left overs for lunch before the wedding. Excellent food, excellent service. We would definitely look forward to hiring them again.

We hired Gava D's to cater a retirement party for a couple of our company's retirees. The food was SO good. Everyone really enjoyed the tri-tip, chicken, bbq sauce, amazing bbq beans, coleslaw, mac & cheese, and rolls. Their set up was very nice with tables and tablecloths. They also brought in sweet tea, lemonade, and water in decorative glass decanters. Their service was exceptional and we highly recommend them!

I know my review is superrrrrr late but we loved their food and him so much we wanted to leave a review . So better late than never! We used their catering services for day after our wedding brunch at our house in Temecula wine country in March about 2 years ago and they were beyond amazing! Gava D's just catered the food for our annual Metz Real Estate party for all of our family , friends, neighbors & clients. The food was outstanding! Everything was so delicious & people couldn't stop raving about how much they were enjoying the food! Elliott & Trish were so nice & set up everything, including plates & utencils. We had the smoker set up out front, which was really fun for the guests to see when they arrived. We enjoyed Smokey wings, Tri Tip, pulled pork, coleslaw & amazing beans! followed up by a delicious warm peach cobbler & ice cream

My parents and I booked Gava D's for my brother's rehearsal dinner and it was AMAZING! We had pulled pork, mac n cheese, salad and biscuits and it was all delicious. The mac n cheese in particular was a huge hit. In fact, there was mac n cheese the next day at the wedding and it didn't hold a candle to Gava D's. Where to begin with this amazing food!? I got married this past November and happened to switch my venue three months prior to the wedding date. We were in a scramble trying to find a caterer out in Temecula. I came across Gava D from their awesome yelp reviews. Boy did they not disappoint. From our initial contact and meeting Elliot was very supportive and honest with everything he does. We used Gava D's for our company Halloween luncheon this afternoon and they were AMAZING! The food was delicious and flavorful. We chose three meats chicken, tri tip, and pulled pork. All the meat was very moist and tender. The Mac n cheese, let's just say Ohhhhh emmmm Geee! We also had the bake beans which were sweet and savory. The coleslaw was zesty and a perfect side to balance all the flavors. Definitely would recommend them for any catering event!

Gava D catered our wedding on 3/26/17 and the food was phenomenal! We ordered trip tip, chicken, beans, slaw and later decided to splurge for the mac and cheese. Best decision ever!!! It was cheesy and smoky and just so yummy! Every guest commented about how good the food was and my brother was even trying to think of a reason to have them cater an event for them. Elliott was so professional, answered phone calls and emails from a crazy bride right away and took care of everything. We had Gava D's cater our wedding and it was just incredible. My, now wife, and I are awful planners and did the whole thing ourselves. Naturally, we waited until the last minute to reach out to Elliot (literally a week before the wedding). He was a really great guy and was very helpful and understanding about the late booking request. Our wedding was at a lodge on Palomar Mountain, which Elliot had no problem driving all the way out for with a small driving surcharge. The pricing was ahead of any competitor and the food most likely was as well. The food was incredible and the setup was tasteful

Elliott is amazing! His catering is superb I cant imagine using anybody else for my next gathering or huge barbecue. Great prices and quality food! If you're looking for quality he's got what you need. Everyone was really nice and very professional!! You won't be disappointed. Seriously give them a try, you won't use any one else again. I wish i could give them more stars!! We had Gava D's cater our wedding in May and we could not have been any happier. We decided to take a risk and go with them based on Yelp reviews alone and we were not disappointed. We were honestly expecting (and hoping for) leftovers and we had NONE! Everyone loved the food and went back for seconds... some people went back for thirds. We had so many people come up to us and tell us how amazing the food was. Elliot and his wife catered my wedding! .I met elliot for a tasting with my fiance and our daughter. He has a son too and he played with my daughter the whole time! such a good kid. Anyways...His house smelled So good and before I even tasted the food, after talking with him I knew he was the right guy for the job. He really truly loves what he does, hes very passionate and loves seeing the reaction people get when they try his food because it is really really REALLY good!
