KNECHTEL is a full-service international food, confectionery and pharmaceutical consultant firm. After his early retirement from Marshall Field's in 1955, Herbert Knechtel set up the company in Chicago, and in 1957 moved it to Skokie. Having spent the greater part of his life in the candy industry, Herb wanted to assist clients to spot opportunities and savor success in their endeavors!

All our consultants sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and are aware of the need for protection of intellectual information and other rights. We maintain isolated computers and have developed internal protocols to ensure we meet your secrecy requirements.
From bench top to full scale production, Knechtel's equipment and 27,000 Sq. Ft. facility enable us to produce a variety of food products ranging from snack foods to confections. Applications such as panning, enrobing, molding, depositing, tableting, liquid & dry mixing, blending, filling, encapsulation and all other processes are within our capabilities.
