A wide variety of rehabilitation options are available to help people with low vision live and/or work more effectively, efficiently, and safely. Most people can be helped with one or more low vision treatment options. Unfortunately, only about 20-25 percent of those who could benefit from these treatment options have been seen by a low vision optometrist.
If you, or someone you know, suffers from a vision impairment, ask your optometrist about low vision rehabilitation. An optometrist who provides low vision rehabilitative services can provide the help and resources needed to gain back the independence and freedom that once seemed lost. People with low vision can be taught a variety of techniques to perform daily activities with what vision remains.
Not all eye examinations are the same. Every patient at Infinity Eye Care receives the most comprehensive eye examination possible. Evaluation of internal ocular health, with the use of dilating drops to allow for a truly comprehensive evaluation of the internal ocular structures. There are two major classifications of contact lenses, soft lenses and Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lenses. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. In general, patients get used to soft lenses a bit more quickly, but once they adapt to RGP lenses, lens comfort is equal between the two types of lenses.

My first visit with Nicole at the front desk and with Dr Zolman was phenomenal Nicole was so helpful in getting me in with my first appt by getting a cancelation from another patient. Dr Zolman was comprehensive in considering my issues with my vision. He listened to each aspect of my history. He used multiple testing applications fir… diagnosing the issues. I am extremely excited to have him help me get the best possible results with what vision I do have. This just might be a miracle!!! I have 3 children out of 5 who are surgeons. The office environment is exceptionally clean and welcoming and the entire staff is professional and personable. Dr. Zolman is thorough and patient, explaining options in succinct detail. He's extremely knowledgeable and shares information in an unhurried fashion. Since my mother had both wet and dry macular degeneration, I am very conscientious about my eye health. I highly recommend this office.

I was devastated about my macular degeneration; my eyes are so important to me and I loved my eyes. I have been seeing Dr. Zolman for at least 5 years now, and I always have an excellent experience. Since i drive myself - I can't do dilation drops and he has a camera that can substitute for the drops. He takes the time to discuss my films and explains where I stand in relation to cataract development. I always find choices of updated stylish frames. My new current pair is light weight and very comfortable. Also, since I work on my computer all day - he makes sure the lens have the right coating for computer work. Kudos to the team at Infinity Eye Care.

I must say that my experience here has to be in the top experiences ever where my eye care is concerned. I tend to get a little anxious when it comes to the eye doctor, especially new ones, but I felt right at home during my visit. You have a lovely receptionist who was very helpful from appointment setting to payment to ordering new contacts.
