I was born and raised in Durham and am committed to this diverse city. The people are warm and generous, there is a wide range of activities and opportunities, including hometown sports both professional and collegiate, entertainment, dining, and higher education. There is something for everyone! As a Durham businessman, I am committed to giving back to this city and will continue to sponsor activities here that benefit the less fortunate.

My story has led me to be driven and thrive in fast-paced environments. I discovered my entrepreneurial streak early in life, selling lemonade in front of the Agape Corner on Holloway Street when I was 12 years old. I began working in residential construction in my late teens.

I selected CQC Home based on recommendations from the Nextdoor app. Unfortunately, I have been so busy that I haven’t followed up on starting my kitchen remodel. However, I decided to post a review now because the representative, Jamie Ciccoline, who worked with me through the process was so responsive, friendly, understanding, and very accommodating of my schedule. I am still considering doing some remodeling and will be contacting her again. I will follow up with another review once I receive an estimate or complete the project.

We contacted CQC after purchasing a home in Chapel Hill sight unseen from Singapore. We planned to do a gut renovation on the house before we moved back to the US. CQC was wonderful to work with from the beginning to the end of the design process. The team even did a thorough presentation of the design plans for my parents who came down from NJ to see the house. We decided not to proceed with the renovation, ended up selling the house, and buying a smaller home that required much less work. I'm sure that if we had gone ahead with the renovation, it would have continued to be a pleasure to work

We were looking to convert a two story room into a loft, and had asked a number of teams' to provide quotes. CQC was by far the easiest to work with! Cindy Gilmore did an amazing job during the design phase, and was a really good partner on our ideas and things she thought would go well with our style. We had our own Project Manager Kevin Barbour who was a great single point of contact, did everything from coordination of subs to sweeping the floors prior to inspections. Mike Dean and John Farmer were our carpenters, and they were great to be around. They also 'nailed' a great custom distressed

The entire CQC team did an excellent job on our complex project to add a master suite to our second story. Justin kept the project moving and was a diligent communicator, Wes provided excellent woodwork, Eric was helpful on multiple tasks, and Mac gave us great design advice. The subs did high quality work as well, especially Jesus and his team. The entire experience was all we could ask for.

Ken Combs, the owner of CQC, sold us our house back in August of 2018. Being first time homebuyers looking for our starter home, we were more than ecstatic to finally move into what seemed like the perfect house. Let me just start by saying, do not ever buy a house this company has flipped.

Our kitchen ceiling began falling in several months after purchase and had to be repaired by CQC, who charged us $1500. Not a big deal. Several of the cabinets were also not completely screwed into the wall, causing them to come loose off while I was standing below. I was able to reattach them on my own.

The team at CQC just wrapped up their third project at our house, and we are thrilled! They first updated our 1988-vintage kitchen and baths, then completely rebuilt a leaky screen porch (which is now my favorite place in the house), and most recently added a bedroom/bath suite in our lower level. We give them highest marks for attention to detail, quality workmanship, and genuine concern for the clients' satisfaction.

I am absolutely thrilled with the way our kitchen remodel turned out. THRILLED.

Richie K. and I moved into our home in August 2016. The kitchen was livable, but we knew we were going to have to invest in a remodel eventually. The next summer, we bit the bullet and started getting estimates. CQC was by far the most impressive in terms of communication and customer service. Even if their portfolio hadn't been so nice, we might have still hired them for that reason.

The design process was pretty easy and fun. Ken and Ericka really welcome you into the family right away (and introduce you to
