The owners of Dino Clark have a long history together. Dana Clark has been a hairdresser for 36 years, and the powerhouse behind Dino Clark Salon since its inception in 1999. She is a California native who has lived, worked and owned multiple successful salons in the Westside for the length of her career.

Sascha is the best stylist hands down! Most definitely worth it, best salon experience I have had. He is an amazing at what he does and very professional, it was my first time in his chair and it felt like I had known him for years. Nothing but great words for Sascha and this salon.

Sascha is amazing. I needed a desperate color correction and he booked me after hours and did an amazing job getting rid of all the orange and brass color. Very friendly and attentive I have a new salon and I’m so happy. FYI i’m super picky so if you are too this is the salon for you.

The best neighborhood salon. Six year ago, I asked my coworker where she got her gorgeous hair cut and colored. She referred me to Dino Clark and I've been visiting ever since. I am a client of Ashlee and Sascha. I look forward to my appointments. Not only do they make me look good, but more importantly, this salon makes me feel good. They are true artists, and the kindest, warmest people. So lucky to have them in Santa Monica. I can't wait to visit when the shelter in place order is lifted!

I just received another adorable haircut from Andy Robarge of Dino Clark Salon. I have been a client of Andy's for 7 years now and have always been delighted when receiving a cut and color from my "hair genius". Andy is the only hairdresser I've been to that knows how to interrupt my needs into a cut that's perfect for me. His skill at "reading between the lines" of what my needs are and what will work for me is superior. He speaks hair and it shows in each and every end product. I can't rave enough about stylist Summer Hubbard. I have naturally curly hair and struggle with finding a stylist who "gets it". Usually my hair looks worse and worse as the time elapses from the haircut. BUT Summer did such an amazing job and now EVERY DAY my hair looks fantastic. Summer somehow captured the natural body and curves of my hair allowing it to fall to accentuate my curls without any loose ends but at the same time perfectly shaped to my face. I don't live in L.A. and was only there on a visit to my sister but I am just going to have to find a way to fly to

I absolute love my hair after going here. I had not gotten my hair done in over a year and I not only felt comfortable, welcomed, and walked out extremely happy with how my hair came out, but I also got a glass of champagne!
When I initially walked in, I began asking about an appointment and showed Sascha what I was looking for to brighten and add dimension to my blonde hair. I immediately could tell he knew what he was talking about and was excited for my appointment .

I've been seeing Bernard for a trim and styling about every 2 months for the past year. I have really long hair that was painstakingly grown out over the course of 2 years, and it's VERY hard for me to trust someone coming near it with scissors. I followed Bernard from another salon and I trust him whole heartedly. He does exactly what I ask every time, but even better. I recently moved to NY, but waited until I came back to LA to see him for a haircut (that's how good he is). I recommend him to all of my friends and strangers, who (vocally) envy my locks.

Sascha does an AMAZING job w/ both cut & color. I can honestly say he is the best hair stylist I've ever gone to my entire life. I'm very lucky to have been recommended to him through his friend, Pete. Sascha is very meticulous and takes pride in his work and has a passion for taking care of his customers and is very professional. I get compliments all the time on my balayage - you can truly tell the difference when you go to an expert to have your hair done. Come see him - you won't regret it!

Let me just start off by saying that I have lived and had my hair cut and dyed in many big cities (Seattle, LA, NYC, Paris) and Ashlee is BY FAR the BEST stylist I have ever been to. I almost feel like it's unfair to refer to her only as a stylist--she is a HAIR GENIUS.

Dear God, how I wish I could put Dino Clark in my pocket and take it with me to Austin.
Twice now I have gone into Dino Clark with hair that is so damaged it is essentially unmanageable. This last time it was so bad that the only way I would wear my hair was in a french braid so no one could see it. Both times, they have worked their magic and somehow created a haircut that manages to work with my damaged hair instead of against it (i.e. by giving me a hairstyle that works incorporates 'messy waves' as opposed to my usual 'smooth and sleek' look that I clearly cannot pull off

Upon moving to LA, my friend recommended that I schedule an appointment with Melissa, and I am so appreciative that she did!
Melissa does an amazing job with my long, blonde hair. She gives me subtle, beautiful highlights all while entertaining me with her fun stories and great personality! She is such a sweet, fun person, and every experience I have in the salon is both memorable and positive.

So as usual, when you move into new city it takes quite a while to find a hair salon you can rely on. I think I finally did.
I called Dino Clark on busy Saturday. Dan really went an extra mile to help book an appointment since it was packed. I appreciated that a lot.
My hair dresser Taline listened to me carefully and did exactly what I wanted. She didn't mind to spend a little extra time to help me decide what haircut I want. I know now where will go for a good haircut and highlights!

Being referred by a friend whose hair is always looking gorgeous, I am now forever indebted to her because now mine does too. After growing out layers for the last 6 months, I sat in Frank's chair and was amazed at the transformation he made. The first question he asked me was what is the most important thing I want from my hair. No one has ever asked me this! I was shocked in the best way possible at the result of what has to be the best haircut I have ever had.
