Best service I've had in a long time! Wayne was excellent to work with, he got me in without an appointment for new tires + alignment. He also provided a loner car so I could run errands instead of sitting in the waiting area. They did an excellent job and the pricing was very good. I've been a Charlottesville resident for almost 20 years now and would not hesitate to come back for any type of service.

I don't leave many reviews. Usually only when I'm appalled or delighted. I'm happy to say when I got a nail I'm my tire today, I decided to call the courteous and efficient team at Settle Tire Pro. They worked me into their busy schedule and $15 later, I was driving off their lot with my newly repaired tire. Great service.

Overall great, quality and friendly service. My mother and I have been going there for years. My old Honda was totaled and they did the review of what was wrong, and someone there even offered to buy the car off me for parts. Took my new car in after I had some body damage to my taillight, and they showed me how I could easily fix it myself and order a new light. You may think they just specialize in tires but they are pros in much more than that

The nicest, most considerate auto and tire service staff I have ever come into contact with! I noticed one of my tires losing air the morning I was supposed to drive on a 9 hour trip. They got me in extremely quickly, and went above and beyond to ensure my safety during the trip. Spending my morning with the staff was an absolute pleasure.

We used Settle to put new tires on our Acura MDX and we were very happy. When it came time to change the tires and get an inspection on our GMC Yukon we were in a bit of quandary. With the corona virus concern we were trying our best at "social distancing". Settle actually came to our home in Crozet to get the vehicle and then brought it back to us! They even wiped it all down with anti bacterial wipes for our safety. They've got customers for life!

I needed new tires for my car, and after checking tire reviews online, I looked for tire stores. Settle was able to give me an online quote for the tires I wanted, including all the installation and taxes. Their prices were by far the most reasonable. They were also less expensive than other stores in town, which didn't include the taxes and installation in their on line quotes.
I made an appointment, and was happy to arrive and not only get the tires installed, and an alignment, but they also inspection was expired and they were able to complete that as well. I wasn't aware they did

Please take me serious when I saw AVOID AVOID AVOID. This place is bad news. I hate to say it but they are crooks wearing mechanic uniforms. I drive a 2014 Hyundai that has no issues. Recently had work done by Hyundai for a warranty recall. Went here because we live in the neighborhood and can walk to it. Decided to come here for a simple inspection. Everything was all peachy in the beginning. Later that day we got a call saying that we needed front and back brakes, rotors, and something else that totaled out to be $1700, which we NEEDED to have done or they would reject the car. Settle's was very gracious and helpful to open up their shop on a Saturday Afternoon just for our Airflow Club Car Club National Meet in CVille to enable the 1934-1937 Chrysler Airflow owners to be able to do work on their automobiles before they drove back across to California and all points on the compass. Old Timey courtesy and attitude of Wayne and Cid and the Crew made it a pleasure. Highly recommend this establishment. This is what a proper garage ought to be. Need more of them.

I was not a fan of your response. And have the following comments/questions.
Yes, you are right about recommending my front brakes be repaired, however; didn't really expect the bill for both sets to be $1,250. I HAD a budget it wasn't over $750!! Your prices are quite high.
I do have a question....IF your mechanics are so thorough, how did they MISS the split in my front brake hoses?
And YES i did have hubcaps on the back tires. I saw them when i found the metal shavings on the ground beside my car. They were there when the

I dropped my car off in the morning for an oil change (with an appointment) and called at 5pm to see if the car was ready. They hadn't even touched it yet. They kept my car until the afternoon the next day. This time I made an appointment and elected to wait for the oil change. I've been sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours and it's still not finished. I will never come back here again.

Over the past year, I've been charged or quoted for $5000 of work. Had a problem, charged me $1,200 to fix it. Still had the problem, charged me over a thousand in repairs. Months later, quoted me for $2,300 - went somewhere else for awhile. I thought it would be harmless to get my oil changed there, but they came back with another $1,000 quote. They said my car is just at that point, but it's 100k miles. I told some friends and they told similar stories. So, the conclusion is that either 1. Subaru's are terrible OR 2. Something fishy is going on.

I've went to this place many times. In fact, it's my go to. However, nowhere is without its flaws. The customer service upfront is generally lacking. They tend to act as if they're doing you a favor by listening to your vehicles issues. They've always had a dismissive air about them. I have found them to be cheaper than some places and I have found them to be more expensive on other ends. It depends. My biggest issue with this place though is their hours. They hold business office hours which is pretty ridiculous for a mechanic shop. It makes doing anything a huge pain. And

My wife and I have had a really good experience with Settle. We take our personal and our business vehicles there and the team is always straightforward and gets stuff done for a fair price. If they are really busy, they tell us so we know what to expect. This is refreshing. Everybody gets super busy sometimes... that's to be expected of any service provider that is any good. The nice thing about Settle is that they give good expectations so we can plan appropriately should we need aid during a busy spell. Typically, we just drop our cars off in the morning and pick them up same day
