Pastor Carolyn Kelly was already a mother of four, young adult children and had been married for more than 10 years by the time she opened the first Day-Star Christian Academy in 2004 on Old National Highway in College Park, Georgia.After three successful years in business, she opened her second location in 2007 on Godby Road in College Park, Georgia.

Proof of address (rental lease or utility bill) - if living with someone, a notarized letter written by the leaseholder stating that the parent and child being enrolled resides at address and a copy of the lease are needed.

All full-time teachers, excluding the GA Pre-K lead teacher, must have the minimum of a CDA and have worked in a licensed childcare learning center for at least six months.Lead teachers must have worked in a licensed learning center and been a lead teacher for at least one year. GA Pre-K lead teacher must have a Bachelor's or higher and have worked in a GA Pre-K program for at least two years.

The director is very kind, but i don’t care for the upkeep of the facility. The staff ( at least 4) walk around the center without mask, even with the delta variant rising. One day they were getting ready to hand me someone else’s child and that was the day, i knew it was time to remove my child from the center alongside the aforementioned issue. Upon taking my child out, said child was infected with a severe rash likely from someone not wearing a mask with some form of herpes (information obtain from causes of rash) and my husband and I do not have herpes and our child had never experienced
