He attended high school at Holy Name Seminary in Madison and earned his Bachelor of Science degree at UW-Madison. He then went on to the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002. After graduating Dr. Olsen returned to the Madison area and has been practicing in Sun Prairie for over 17 years.

Everyone one at West Prairie Dental is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have not been to a dentist in a long time and from the front desk personal to the hygienist were excellent at their job. Special shout out goes to the front desk worker who explained insurance to me and how my benefits worked because they are super confusing and she made it so much easier. Highly recommend!

Tiahna and Dr. Olsen were outstanding! I had major anxiety about going to the dentist because I have very sensitive teeth and have had negative experiences in the past, but they both made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. They explained everything they were doing before they did it and the process was completely painless. I actually am looking forward to my next appointment! Kelsey at the front desk was super helpful and kind as well when I had questions about their financing options. 10/10 experience :)

First visit with this dental office and I would give it a 10 out 10. DR. MCKENNA was great to me, explained every aspect of the exam and what to expect to me. And was a good down to earth person who was there for the patients best interest. Staff was all great to me as well from the front desk to the hygienist. Highly recommend to anyone.

I am in Love!!!! Today was my first visit and I am so happy that I went to this place. My sister recommended this place to me (she have been coming to this place for a little while now). I am so picky and sensitive (a cry baby honestly) and I dont have a single complaint about this place. I love the place really clean (Like reaaallly really clean offices, bathrooms and all what I was able to see) and the service of the staff was amazing!! They treat you with respect and make you feel like they really care about you. Pricing is super affordable and they have a couple of plans options. I really felt

I have been a patient of Dr. McKenna for a long time. He is a first rate professional and a good guy. If you suffer from "fear of the dentist" he is your man. My hygienist, Morgan,
