Since 1955, the Harloff Family has served the families of our area during their time of need. Our commitment is to serve families with utmost dignity and care. Every funeral we are asked to arrange, no matter how simple or complex, is handled as if we were arranging the services for a member of our own family.

The Harloff Funeral Home was established by Mark D. Harloff, Jr. in 1955. Our Funeral Home is Family-Owned and Operated and offers the combined experience in Funeral Service of Jeffrey A. Jennings- Licensed Funeral Director, Amy G. Yelle-Office Manager, plus associate Licensed Funeral Directors and Professional Staff.
Services
We offer a complete range of services from the simplest cremation to the most complex traditional funeral. We handle the receiving of the deceased when shipped in from out of town, out of state or out of country. We handle the shipping of the deceased when shipped out of town, out of state or out of country.
Coming from the EAST or SOUTH sides of East Rochester - using the Rt. 490 Expressway: Take Rt. 490 Westbound and get off at Exit 25 - Marked "Fairport & East Rochester". Take ramp down to traffic light but STAY TO YOUR RIGHT and take the right leg of the ramp, this will merge you onto Rt. 31F heading East.
The Funeral Home is divided into two chapel areas, the North Chapel and the South Chapel. The combined area comprises approximately 3300 square feet. Although separated by the main foyer, the two chapels can be combined and used in conjunction with one another, if the need arises for large visitation groups.
Jeff is a native of Rome, NY. The youngest of eight children, Jeff is a 1984 graduate of Rome Catholic High School and 1986 graduate of SUNY Canton, with a degree in Mortuary Science. After earning his funeral directors license in 1987, Jeff began serving families in the Rochester area in 1988. Jeff is married to Robin (Boyce) Jennings, an elementary school administrator with the Webster School District.
Family and friends getting together to honor a loved one's life is one of the most important steps in the grieving and healing process. You may opt to have a traditional religious or military service, or as more and more people are doing, you can choose to have a non-traditional 'life celebration'.
