Our Mission at West Miami Montessori Learning Academy is to prepare our children for the future by providing a quality educational program that will inspire children to achieve academic excellence, independence, and personal growth in a safe, respectful, nurturing, and diverse environment.

Our method for teaching is based on the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori who believed that all children have an innate ability to learn independently when provided with a positive environment rich with materials that foster meaningful learning experiences known as the Prepared Environment.
Services
The most important years of a child's emotional and educational development begin at birth and extend until the age of six. Physical development and mental development are greatly linked during this time. As a result, infants respond well to external stimulation which lays the foundation for absorption, concentration and learning.
Families seeking admission must visit the school office to set up an interview and obtain a list of required documents. Contact our school office at 786-356-6531 for detailed enrollment information and to obtain a copy of the Enrollment application and other necessary documents. Once the school has received the Enrollment forms, the non-refundable Registration fee and the signed tuition agreement, a space will be reserved for your child.

This school is so amazing!!! My son started this summer and we couldn't be happier with the love and care that he is receiving at WMMLA. The teachers are so welcoming. They always greet us with a big smile and take the time to ask about our morning and notice details about my son. His teacher Ms. Lily is really phenomenal too. You can tell she loves what she does and she always takes the time at dismissal to tell me about his day or something new he is doing. As a parent, I literally leave feeling so confident that my child is well taken care of. And communication has been awesome for this nervous

West Miami Montessori has become home to me and my family. When looking for a child care setting, I wanted a place where the teachers were passionate, the school was clean and organized, my child would be challenged, & most importantly that she would be safe. I was referred to WMM by a friend who had her 3 children there. From day one, I saw all my requests in full effect and surpassed all expectations. My daughter was happy and she loved going to school everyday. She attended WMM for 4 years. She is now entering Kindergarten well prepared and with a huge foundation on life skills. I had the option

I wish I could give this school a zero stars! That’s truly what they deserve! I do not and would not recommend this school to anyone! The director/owner doesn’t know how to run the school and is extremely disorganized. I enrolled my son at this school, filled out and returned all his paper work on 4/12 asked the director/owner if we could send the deposit/fee and Ms. Emily stated that she would put him into the system and then send us the information to pay. When I reached out to her a few months later because we were still waiting on the payment information she wouldn’t pick up the phone

I have searched high and low for the perfect school for my 18 month old son and nothing compares to this school. The teachers and director (Mrs. Emily) are extremely attentive and nurturing. This school encourages their students to be the best they can be. The teachers truly love the children and the children feel at home.
I am a full time mom, so I miss out on precious moments with my son, but Mrs. Emily captures those moments for me and I cannot explain how grateful I am for it. This school is EXTREMELY clean. My son comes home clean, happy and I am very impressed on how much he is developing

I had to switch my kids in the middle of the school year, they went from crying about going to school to running to the door and waiting anxiously to get in. The school is clean, new, and you get a great vibe when you enter. Most importantly the teachers are kind and loving with the kids.
What stood out to me the most, and will probably give you a good idea of how they are at WMM is when my son lost his first tooth. He was in the playground and his tooth had fallen on the grass. It was his first tooth to fall out and I had missed it, and now the tooth was gone. (that would have been the case but
