Diamond Minds is a year-round, private Pre-K through 12 school designed to ensure that each child receives a holistic education which nurtures their physical, emotional, intellectual, social, aesthetic and spiritual needs. We educate students from a range of communities around the greater Miami area including, Miramar, Little Haiti, Liberty City, Miami Gardens and Aventura.
Despite its private status, the school is populated primarily by students who traditionally receive free and reduced lunch. This is possible because of scholarship programs such as Step Up for Students and McKay.

The mission of Diamond Minds is to offer every child a holistic education which nurtures their physical, emotional, intellectual, social, aesthetic, and spiritual needs. This is supported in a culturally responsive and compassionate community designed to inspire creative thinking, promote a love of learning, advance self-awareness, and impart the knowledge and intuition necessary to prepare children for success as global citizens.
Situated in the business district of Miami Gardens, the facilities of Diamond Minds include ten classrooms, a dance studio, a music room, a caf and a gymnastics room. Outside the school there is a playground, herb and vegetable garden, a flower garden, and courtyard for meals. The school also features murals on the inside and outside walls, created by local artists alongside students.
Diamond Minds' preschool is open to children ages 2 - 5 years old. The program offers children a highly stimulating environment where they can develop socially, emotionally, and physically. We believe it's never too early to begin to prepare for a stellar academic career. We promote the development of the whole child.
The Primary School consists of the Early Elementary and Upper Elementary programs. The Early Elementary program at Diamond Minds serves children in Kindergarten to 2nd grade. The Upper Elementary program serves students in grades 3-5. The primary school is a transformational learning experience where students learn to become responsible for their own learning and passionately involved in activities that inspire their continued development.
The School of Arts is Diamond Minds' middle school program providing a blend of rigorous academics and intense study in the arts. Every student dives deeply into dance, music, and/or visual arts, expressing and exploring the creativity of the soul. Students are committed to arts at the deepest level, often spending hours every day training and rehearsing their chosen art form.

Amazing staff and facility. They have helped my son so much, He loves to ready books. I cant express how grateful I am he was able to attend Diamond Mind Transformation Leadership Academy . They really focus on the kids learning, they also make it so fun for them to learn and enjoy reading. I would recommend this school. They are definitely helping raise Leaders in this Academy

My experience at Diamond Minds is a new one. Beginning when I first contacted them at the end of the previous school year looking for a program to put my daughter in for the summer. Mrs. Yolandria was very helpful and open even offering me to come in for a tour of the facility the same day I spoke with her. This took me by surprise because most people want to prep for visitors. I was going to see the environment in real working time. Everyone at the school was very welcoming and I loved the way that the classrooms were set up iunlike a traditional classroom setting... The school was very dirty; allowing the children that attend the school to clean the facility. It didn't seem organized. It's hard to get a return phone call or meeting with staffing. Considered the Academy but after the long, overdue meeting, I must say, it's a NO for my children attending this Academy.

Diamond Minds remains has been a great school. Dance, art, and a focus on reading. The school is truly a community school, invested in the lifelong development of all students. The program focuses on reading at a young age and follows children into high school. Eligible students can both learn on-the-job training through VR programs and summer employment, as well as get college experience in dual-enrollment at FIU. I am happy I made the decision to enroll my child here at Diamond Minds. The way the teachers helped my son develop his individuality, while at the same time emphasizing self-discipline and respect towards others, has truly been a heartening experience that I won’t ever forget. My Experience here at Diamond Minds has been nothing but Great. Just to know Mrs. Tamika, Teachers, and staff really care about your kids means a lot. I’ve seen so much growth in my own kids, and I’m very happy with the transition I made . So thankful for this great school. The Principal and faculty have a unified vision to uplift and it shows. I also like the fact that there are regular Field Trips which open up a child's mind. Although they cost it's worth it after all the world is our classroom. Dr. Tameka puts a premium on reading and comprehension which is vital for our youth. Students are given weekly task which helps them be Goal oriented and mindful of scheduling. Daily my two kids are coming home using words I had no idea they knew and use them in context.
