I've been going to Valley Eyecare for my annual eye exams for a few years now and it's always a positive & easy experience. I see Dr. Lindsey Clyde & she is great!
In the last year I've had to go in for one off things like floaters, light flashes that I wasn't sure were pregnancy related or something of concern & each time Valley Eyecare got me in right away. I've always seen Dr. Baldwin for these appointments & he is always kind, informative & made me feel confident knowing what was pregnancy and now breastfeeding safe.

The doctors are great, it's the staff that gets this rating. I didn't ask for contacts, I asked for glasses multiple times. The doc gave me sample contacts and the staff tried to charge me a "fitting fee". After I refused to pay (again, something I didn't ask for), I was asked to take the sample lenses out of my eyes. If the miscommunication is between staff and the doctor, why as the patient am I being treated as if I'm the one trying to get over? Super unprofessional

I was honestly very anxious about going in for my yearly exam. I called in beforehand to find out what precautions they were taking and from the first phone call was put at ease. The receptionist was very informative, and put my mind at ease. The day of my appointment I came in they were all wearing mask. My temperature was checked, and I was asked to wash my hands. In the exam room all equipment was wiped down in front of me before each use. The doctor came in and as always was awesome! I've been coming to this location for about 5yrs. I should've known I would be in great hands since

I absolutely love Valley Eyecare Center! It feels like a personalized, family-oriented business, and I have a great experience every time I go. All of the staff members are super nice and friendly. They are especially careful in this COVID-19 environment with sanitizing equipment, requiring masks, and having all patients wash their hands before going back into the exam rooms. I had a quick and easy exam and was then taken into the retail area to pick my frames. This part was super fun and the staff helped me to make my final selection (and again sanitized every pair I held or tried on). I appreciated

Belinda took care of my needs the minute I walked in the door. Not only did Belinda help with picking out the glasses that had the best fit. Belinda offered me a pair of designer sunglasses due to an inconvenience with another location. My glasses arrived 3 weeks after the day I went in. Belinda communicated with me efficiently and made sure I was satisfied with my glasses. I am thankful that Valley Eyecare Center was able to rectify the issue. I will be happy to do business with Belinda at the Arcadia location again. I will go back to get my eyeglasses in the foreseeable future. Highly satisfied

I'm so thankful that a friend of mine referred me to check this place out.
My optometrist I was scheduled with was Dr Baldwin. He was very thorough on my eye exam and I felt like he actually cared.
I have astigmatism on one eye making contact lenses a bit uncomfortable. We had to do about 3 different brand of trials and through those times he made sure that I was comfortable with the contacts.

I am a bit frustrated ... the visit was awesome the people were great ... I went in hoping to get checked for glasses , keep in mind I just got fitted for lenses 4 months ago which I stated to the doctor. Before walking in I took off my lenses and walked waited 10 min before I got taken in, got the exam asked me I wore lenses stated that I did then got given a set of lenses to wear I didn't quite get it but I went ahead and put em on ( keep in mind mine are in the case in my car) I then picked my frames , ready to pay then was slapped with a $100 fee for lenses fitting ??????? I AM THERE

I love this place and wouldn’t trust my family’s eyes to anyone else but these group of people! It started as a family practice and it still has the family feel. They caught my retinas starting to tear and sent me to a specialist that is just as awesome! Thank you for taking care of us as well as you do! I had a medical eye emergency that I wanted to have evaluated initially at Valley Eyecare---because I trust everyone there. Front Desk staff were kind, professional, reassuring, and accommodating. They got me in within the hour. Dr. Eric was great also: a thorough but efficient evaluation, assessment, and plan. It was in all ways a perfect… customer service experience. I am a physician with 40 years experience trying to give patients outstanding service and positive experiences under difficult circumstances. The secret is simply to really care. My husband and I have been going to VEC for over 2 years now. I think we selected them because it was close to home and they are in-network for both of our insurances. We have had nothin but positive experiences with the staff and all of the services they offer. I appreciate how they accommodate our schedule getting us in at the same time and we never have to wait long to see the doctor.

I leave a moderate review as the staff is nice, and i got what I needed leaving. However, i'm not sure if the providers are overworked or practice management needs tweaked, but when you have me wait nearly 30 mins for the optometrist to see me for 7 mins, a simple "we'll be with you shortly/xx time" would be nice.

I thought I was legally blind (just kidding) until I went for my annual eye examination. I'm new to this office and I wanted to make sure that my eye health was as good or better than my physical health.
Dr. Peter Ryan, was pleasant, funny, and assured me that I was not legally blind :) He was efficient, informational, and told me that I had this amazing imagery of my eyes. ( I have had my eyes checked a million times and no one ever told me this) He used it as a teaching moment (with my permission) with one of the students he mentors. I thought that was awesome!

Great location, West side of 44th Street. Great staff! They are very good about answering all your questions. Plus, the Doctors are wonderful.
They are Brother and Sister Dr. Eric and Dr. Lindsey.
All their eye exams are very modern and they show you exactly what is going on inside your eye. Such as Cataracts, and degeneration of the eye, or any other type of Eye Disease.
Here is the really cool thing about this visit. I went in thinking my appt. was this day. Turns out,

I was nervous about finding a new eye doctor when I moved to Arizona and didn't think I'd find one as amazing as the Shiley Eye Care Center at UC, San Diego. After putting off my annual eye check up, I finally decided it was time to test the waters and see what Arizona had to offer. Thankfully my fellow Yelpers led me to the Valley Eyecare Center and I couldn't be happier!
