Dedrick's Pharmacy and Gift Shop has been serving the Hudson Valley since 1857, beginning in Kingston, NY and expanding to New Paltz in 1968. In 2018 Dedrick's entered a new and exciting chapter! Bill and Jack Sheeley retired and sold their life's work to Jared Nekos. Jared is a 4th generation business owner and 3rd generation pharmacist.

I really like to support local but they are charging $40 for a covid test kit. Where other stores are charging $24, where you can get them on Amazon for $14.
If they truly cared about their community they would just make sure they get them to people not make a hefty profit for them.
Truly awful to take advantage of people like that. I won't be supporting them anymore, seeing as they don't support us

Forty years of sometimes life-saving service/help.
However, among other abuses by big pharma has been the increasing, I guess money-saving,
virtually identical appearance of my pills (at least to a customer and a senior). I can’t be the only one...
plus just spilled some; hard to disaggregate. This is an accident waiting to happen.

I would say this has to be the best pharmacy in the Hudson Valley. The staff is amazing and are all very friendly. When you go to get a prescription filled it doesn't take more than 15-20 minutes. If you need a pharmacist consult the pharmacist are very knowledgeable and make it simple for you to understand how to properly take the medication and what side effects the medication can cause. Also the pharmacy has a little gift shop in the back that is very nice. I have been going here for over six years and I don't plan on going anywhere else when I need to go to the pharmacy. Plus it's a local business

I'm keep being amazing about the level of service from Dedrick's. They are always helpful, their pharmacists are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to advice and assist whenever you need it. All this, and the prices on the non-prescription products are great as well.
I cannot highly enough recommend this pharmacy. When I move soon, I will drive the 15 minutes to come here when I need medicine, bypassing many closer chain pharmacies. They're just that good.
