Reeves Realty manages over 600 single family homes, town-homes, and condominiums in the Mobile, Alabama area. We also manage Homeowners' Associations. We started 45 years ago with a handful of clients, determined to be the best property management company in Mobile, Alabama. And though we've grown a lot, Reeves is still dedicated to giving every client the same excellent management service.

I have never had such an unpleasant experience with any “company” or “business” in my life. Fortunately we were able to have a direct line to the home owner and he was able to help with the numbers issues Reeves over looked.
The only reason I have given them 1 star is because google will not allow make the post with 0 stars.
To say their customer service and communication skills is sub-par would be a compliment. There is little to no activity from Reeves in their portal. We sent Multiple Maintenance request that were never addressed. They will attempt to charge you for the maintenance

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
I went to view a house they had for rent and there were roaches EVERYWHERE. There was an infestation in the refrigerator. The roaches were crawling out of where you would drink water from. I informed a staff member and they did not care. It’s like the already knew. So sad how greedy and disgusting people are these days.

Called to inquire about a house and wanted to talk to them about my current situation and the best route I could take to get into a rental. I was rudely cut off mid sentence and told essentially that they pretty much didn't care and that the guidelines were this and that. Completely cold and unprofessional, uncaring, and really disheartening. Customer service should be a little better than that.

I would love to give the company a 5 star. We moved down from Huntsville in June 2020. Company very willing to make our transition easy. Rented the home before ever seeing it. We have absolutely loved the home and living in Satsuma. Always very helpful when we had to reach out. Comes time to renew our lease and we get told the owner is wanting to sell. We had 2 days to either buy the home or the home gets put on the market. We have 45 days to find a home to move into in the Satsuma area. Very disappointed that we were not even given a decent time to even make plans for our family of 5. We have

I went to see the rental located on Creekwood Dr. in Mobile. Wow is an understatement. The carpet in the bedrooms upstairs is heavily stained, the fronts of the cabinets under the kitchen sink are water damaged, the pull-down shades downstairs are gross, the molding in one spot on top of the kitchen cabinets is totally broken off. The home is EXTREMELY unclean—the doors are filthy, the exterior hasn’t seen a pressure washer in years, and it’s blatantly obvious the place wasn’t cleaned prior to move out or by the management company. They should be ashamed to have their name attached to this

When we first listed our property with Reeves several years ago (at least 5 - I've lost count) we were impressed with their customer service and professionalism. Over the course of the last several years we have been fraught with the following (to name a few):
1. No move-in condition forms (owners are stuck with damages and Reeves does not charge the tenant)
2. Lack of communication & blame (I have email records of their employees fighting with us when we ask basic questions)
3. Overcharges for service calls (multiple charges for repetitive issues)
4. Lack of marketing

Great company! I have been using this company for years. I have several real estate properties that are listed with them. I love the way that they take time and run background checks on potential tenants for my property, do the leases and any other legal work that might be needed. They notify me immediately if there is a repair that might be needed and take care of it immediately.
Rent is deposited electronically into my account and monthly and yearly reports sent out. A very friendly staff to me and my tenants. I believe they have close to 50 years in the real estate business. I recommend this

Do NOT let Reeves manage your property for rental. Over five years, they found three renter groups, the first we had to evict and they still owe us several thousand dollars; the 2nd also got behind on rent payments and left the house in horrible condition; and the 3rd group trashed it still further. We couldn’t even get a full refund from the last renters’ deposit for basic things like carpet cleaning and light bulb replacement. We literally have had to spend thousands of dollars repairing and restoring our home, and the Reeves staff simply doesn’t care!

When we put our house in the rental market, it was just coming off of the sale market during a down turn and was completely with new flooring, carpet, and paint. The move in home was flawless. We were obviously incredibly concerned about the right tenants and were assured by John himself all the ways they screen tenants. When they told us they found a tenant (and turned down others that were not "qualified") we felt excited about the whole process.
Over the course of the next 5 years (our tenants renewed the lease) we made the unfortunate mistake of believing Reeves was living up to its promises

Warning to all active duty military these people claim to be MILITARY FRIENDLY but they are NOT. The owners father may have been active duty once upon a time. They will not honor separation orders unlike many other companies. They're also awful at getting back to tenants, they have a very lackadaisical attitude toward service once you are in a lease with them. Beware and don't buy their military friendly bit. You deserve better my brothers and sisters.

Would give no stars, double priced deposit, every time boyfriend called to fix townhouse appliances the owners would wait weeks to do the transaction, rats in home ate all our food and scratched wood cabinets. Water heater wasn't repaired for three weeks, had to boil water on stove that barely work to bathe. Place is in bad condition, management awful, just one bad experience after another. Would never rent from again.

This company is probably the worst rental company I have EVER had the displeasure from renting from. Our heater didn't even work in the house, told them, nothing was done about it. Water constantly leaked into the hallway could not walk around in socks or we would have wet feet the entire time. Management is terrible, hair brained and not put together at all. If you rent from them be prepared for misery.

I went to see a property which was absolutely disgusting. There was still food in the cabinets and furniture from where I assume a family was evicted with no notice, which in and of itself is pretty morally bankrupt. The first key they gave me to go look at the property did not even unlock anything. The yard had foot high grass, and the neighbor across the street had no teeth. The duplex is split with a zig-zag wall which makes absolutely no sense and caused the closets to literally be bigger than the bathroom. If you're trying to save money and make something of yourself, don't go to

During our search for a rental home in Mobile, I visited a couple of properties that Reeves Rentals owns. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and I liked that all of the properties and details were listed online. That is where the good stops.
Both properties we looked at were in terrible condition. One was an adorable duplex in a nice intown neighborhood, but the toilet had clearly overflown all over the floor and not been cleaned up. There was mold growing on the ceiling (the fuzzy kind, not mildew). The walls were in terrible shape, obviously beat up and repaired poorly.
