This school is amazing. The people behind the school truly care and absolutely make sure each child has an amazing experience. I could not be happier! Patient and kind to my girls while I'm away. I feel good when dropping them off in the morning. My little ones love being there, they have both learned so much in the short 2 months they have been there.

Enroll your child in our one-on-one tutoring services. We focus our attention on finding the right method to teach your child. Everyone is smart in their own way, and we want to encourage children to enjoy learning new concepts in a way that works for them. Our middle school students participate in a block schedule focusing on 4 core subjects a day with a specialty teacher.
The Greater Las Vegas Academy believes in connecting with the families of our students to build lasting relationships for continued success. We embrace the idea that every child learns differently. In order to inspire their educational journey we use Howard Gardner's approach to education, allowing each child to grow at their own pace.

I'm embarrassed that I failed to write this review sooner. My son has been in public school, a Montessori Academy and GLVA. The bottom line is that GLVA is by far the best of the best. He is now 7, in a mixed age/grade class and has been enrolled for about 3 years total and I couldn't be more thankful.

My kids LOVE going to school here. They're so excited to go and barely say bye to me before they take off for their classrooms. This is the first place my 2 year old has ever attended and he was able to feel comfortable with his teacher right away. I was able to leave him feeling confident that he was well taken care of! I love that the teachers let me know how they did each day. I would definitely recommend sending your kids here!

I can't say enough positive things about Great Las Vegas Academy! My son has learned so much since attending the school. The teachers work with each student and knows how to help students learn. My son was reading before the end of preschool and now attends kindergarten at GLVA. The front office staff is extremely friendly, flexible, and helpful. I appreciate that the staff knows each child's name. Heather, the director, is amazing and loves seeing children learn in a loving environment. I would highly recommend GLVA!

This place is a gem! My daughter started school here in October. She was welcomed with patience and warmth from both her teachers in Room 2. She was very shy and quiet starting and now she loves being at school cause she has friends and she participates in show and tell and she isn't so shy anymore. Miss Heather the director is great and friendly and so joyful. Miss Desiree from the front office is amazing. I'm always bugging her to check on my daughter or ask her 1,000 questions and she never minds. She really is helpful and amazing. I would highly recommend this school or daycare. The

My son has been attending this school since he was 2, he is now 4. We had previously been at another school where he was getting into trouble due to not being busy enough. Since moving him here, that problem has all but gone away. He is kept too busy to get into trouble and loves going to school. My daughter started about a year ago, when she was old enough, and I couldn't be happier with the progress she is making. She just turned 2 and knows all her colors, letters, letter sounds, numbers, and shapes. She even pointed out a crescent the other day. What 2 year old knows that? I love that

I chose this school due to the price and close proximity to my place of employment. it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I had the same woman raise my older children..she was amazing!!(sadly another state) so putting my child in a daycare was something I was very apprehensive of. In fact, I was terrified of it. These ladies have been amazing. They are always happy and positive. I cried the first day I dropped him off and they were very supportive. My son still gets very upset (serious attachment issues) every morning and they help me be able to get out the door without a ton

My daughter has been at GLVA since February of 2017. She is now in the older PReK room and can tell you every letter, letter sound, vowels, count to 30, knows her shapes, colors, is starting to sound out small words, and she is writing her name at just 4.3 yrs old! Seriously an awesome program! She will leave there Kindergarten ready for sure. The staff is beyond awesome, you can tell they really care about the children and love to teach.

I'm pretty shocked by this place. We lasted about a little over a month, but it took be a few weeks to realize the TV was on in the classroom every single time I picked up our toddler, with multiple kids sitting in front of it. I asked the teacher and the director about it, nothing changed. The director told me that it was educational programming, last I checked, Peppa Pig isn't educational anything, and three plus hours of tv isn't close to developmentally appropriate for toddlers. When we finally left, I asked the director if she realized the tv was still on, every single time

If you are looking for a daycare where they put movies all the times this is the right school for you. My experience is that there's not much curriculum but tv and you will see a tv on every room. My daughter will come home with her eyes hurting for too much tv and she even said that she was tired of it. We moved my kids to a different school. What really bothered me the most is that the director told me that they will cancel Netflix and they will do more games and that lasted one day. On the other side is cheaper than other schools but we decided to pay more for better education

Heather clearly loves what she does and the school reflects that. Sunshine is incredibly sweet and cares for the children in her care like a close relative would. The school is VERY clean and safe. The curriculum is great, so is the price. Thanks Heather for being so wonderful over the phone and making time for a tour with me. I felt so welcomed.

This place is great and my son loves to go to school everyday. The staff is very friendly. I enjoy all of the activities they do. My son was so excited to go to school today and was racing to get out of the door. He was able to dress up in his Halloween costume today. He's going to be able to dress up again tomorrow as well!

We love this school! The staff is like an extension of our family. There is so much peace of mind when I can drop off my 2 little ones (ages 4 & 6 now), and know they are going to have a fun day. The school always has a theme and over the top decor to match, which is super exciting for the kids.

l coming from Challenger, has vast knowledge of education for children and it shows. The teachers are caring and nurturing towards the kids. My 2 year old daughter has been there for about 6 months now and i have not seen any turnover in the staff which shows quality in the level of care they give. The facility is clean and well taken care of. I would recommend any parent considering this school to take a tour and see for yourself.

Our family loves this school! Our 3 year old has been learning by leaps and bounds. We were concerned how he would do because he had never been in daycare or school before and was always taken care of by family members. The teachers were able to help him transition so well and he is excited to be there. Heather and the teachers really focus on how each child is doing and update the parents on their progress. I love that this isn't just a day care and they learn phonics, math, Spanish, and art! They even do plays and little things around the holidays that the parents can attend. They do a story

We love our school! Our daughter is 4 years old, she has grown and learned so much since starting in August. We love all the staff, they are great. I feel so comfortable when I drop my daughter off in the morning. I think that is the most important thing when looking for a preschool. We wanted her to learn and interact with children her age and be safe. The school offers great extras too. Reading with princesses, Saturday drop off once a month, yoga, dance. It is a great school, with a very passionate director and teachers. Defiantly check it out!

Highly recommended place to send your kids to.
We had a convention in town, searching for a preschool or a child care for my daughter. We had in mind of a place where she can learn and play during the few days we are in town. We stumbled upon this great place and felt so thankful that they can accept us despite our last minute appearance. Most importantly the place accept drop offs.
We checked out the school personally, and it is amazing! Heather showed us around, explained to us how the school works and she is so friendly and my daughter can't wait to go to school. This school is quite new

Our daughter loves school. She is 2 years old in the 3 year old class. She is a little more advanced for her age at the moment. She is learning a tremendous amount from this school. Everyday she comes home saying the sound the letter makes and what word it goes with. She has learned about community helpers and it shows at home when she asks me off the wall questions about the subject in school. Just 1.5 months at school and she has grown socially, academically and emotionally. I am very happy with this school and all of the staff.
