The following information relates the past history of the current DeClue Funeral Home of Potosi in Washington County Missouri. The funeral home operation in Potosi, Missouri was established by Mr. Everett Sparks and his wife Lottie (Jenkins) Sparks. He attended school in Washington County. To this union, eight children were born.
Staff members of DeClue Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Proudly Serving the Communities of Potosi, Belgrade, Caledonia, Richwoods, Cadet, Mineral Point, Hopewell and Irondale.

BJ DeClue and his team at DeClue Funeral Home did such a great job with our father's funeral in mid-April 2021. They worked with us throughout the entire process day-day in planning a dignified, professional memorial service that honored not only our father, but his family and friends. Most compassionate funeral staff that we have interfaced with to date. We even had friends and family say, "that was a funeral I did not want to leave." Well said and I agree 100%.

My first time going to Declue and it was sadly a disappoinment. There were no tissues where the funeral was taking place. NONE! So I got up to go to go to the restroom to get toilet paper (to use as tissues) and while I was in there I decided to use the restroom and there were no toilet paper. NONE! Such a disappoinment
