Services
We are pleased to be able to provide these beautiful horses, Carriage and Amish made hearse for our families. We have used them to Hillsboro Cemetery, Good Shepherd Cemetery and Peaceful Meadows Cemetery. The horses can only travel short distances but we can usually make arrangements to accommodate a families request to provide the horse drawn teams for their services.
We understand that making the many decisions which come at a time of loss can be difficult. We offer our support by providing you with two options as you consider making immediate arrangements. With online Arrangements, you can take your time to select the arrangements which are best for your preferences and budget.
Staff members of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Bob started working at Lemme Funeral Home in Festus, Missouri in 1977 while still in High School.
Take Tesson Ferry South which turns into New Hwy 21. Stay on the new highway all the way until you get to the Hwy A/ Hillsboro Missouri exit. Take that exit. At top of ramp, make left turn and head toward the intersection of Hwy A and Old Hwy 21/Business 21. At Intersection stay to the right and take the right hand turn lane which will put you on to Business 21.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.

Very impressed with the personal attention to detail. Burying a loved one is a most difficult period in one's life. You need a funeral director who has a reputation for trustworthiness.
Bob Brown is that man.
My brother and sister met with Bob to begin the process and he handled all the details from there. And at a very reasonable price!
Bob was there in person for the visitation, funeral and gravesite service. He was like a longtime personal friend and he genuinely cared. He clearly understood the significance of the grieving process and how his handling of the arrangements would make this

We started out using another funeral home after my mother passed away. We quickly learned she did not have life insurance. The other funeral home refused to help our family out during our time of need. They wouldn't do our mothers service until the entire bill was paid. We were beside ourselves. Thats when we contacted robert d. brown funeral home. They were so nice and understanding. They were helpful in every way to make sure my mother had a nice funeral. I will only do business with them in the future. I definitely tell all my friends and family how wonderful they were. Thank you Bob and Gary

Robert Brown and Gary Boyer at Robert Brown Funeral Home took excellent care of our family when our father passed away unexpectedly recently. They walked us through everything that needed to be done, did as much of the legwork for us that they could (with SSI, VA, insurance, etc). They also arranged for full military honors w/a gun salute and arranged for a bagpipe player to play Amazing Grace at the graveside service (this was a request our father made many years ago). They made a very hard time for us so much easier. It is obvious that they truly care about the families they serve. While I hope
