Our maintenance technicians understand your air conditioning and heating system and can assist in eliminating money-wasting repairs. We have developed the Peak Performance Agreement to address the problems we see most often. Two inspections per year (typically one in the heating season and one in the cooling season).
After extensive research into the practice of "Duct Cleaning", Powell Heating & Air is of the opinion that there is no actual benefit to a customer or proof of air quality improvement and therefore we will not offer the service. Anything that would NEED to be removed from the ductwork, can ONLY be remedied by replacing the section of ductwork affected.

Powell installed a new AC unit in our condo a year ago. It was a great experience then and todays check up and maintenance was another great experience! This company is amazing! I had an entire unit replaced in my condo unit. From the initial consultation with Dan to the installation with Anthony and Jaden, the process was professional and smooth! They were all so knowledgeable and educated me throughout the process. No high pressure sales and patient, thorough Q/A to be sure I knew what I had and how to run it and keep it in great working order!

We experienced 3 very professional and knowledgeable men, Justin, Anthony, and Victor, who installed a new Daikon ac unit for us. They worked quietly and confidently at every step during the approximately 6 hours they were there. They cleaned up after themselves and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend this team from Powell’s! They deserve 6 stars!

We just had three new AC units installed and the whole process took only about 5 1/2 hours. Powell scheduled two complete crews who were professional and organized so the job wasn’t nearly as ‘painful’ as I thought it would be! We have used Powell for 3 years for quarterly maintenance and would not use any other company!

We used Powell for a renovation update to relocate lines etc. Justin and Tony were hands down awesome! Not only was their work beyond top notch, Justin also discovered a concern with the air handler in the attic and saved us from a water leak/roof collapse! We would highly recommend Powell to everyone!

Justin and Tony of Powell. Heating/Ac arrived right on time and set to work immediately. They had to replace an old, non-functioning AC system, inside and out; and all through this hours-long process--in the heat and humidity, no less--they were courteous, took care to be neat and orderly, adjusted the vents in every room, and even removed some trash not related to the job. I don't see how they could have done a better job or been more determined to make sure everything was working perfectly before they left. They provided excellent service and answered every one of our questions.

Was a prior Powell customer and even had Powell's Peak Performance plan on our home units. Called them for our unit cooling very weak and they replaced 2 parts: start kit and capacitor for over $300 and it started cooling fine again. 1 part was universal and they had to return a week later to replace it with a factory version. When the new factory part was installed, the unit returned to weak cooling again. Called them the next morning after the unit ran all night long and spoke to their technician, "Wes" who immediately stated, "it's going to be another $99 service call

We have an old a.c. unit trying to baby it along for a while. Had Powell repair it a couple of months ago. When it quit working again they found the problem - it was a mistake they made last time. They admitted it was their fault, fixed it and didn't charge us! They could have easily lied and charged us for the service call. Good to know there are honest employees / companies still around!

We had a very pleasant experience although expensive because our A/C went bonkers. The estimator came the same day. We also got 3 other estimates. Powell was lowest by about $100 so we chose them. They came two days later at 8am sharp, as promised. The installers (two of them) were friendly, professional and thorough. It has been several weeks now and we are completly satisfied with our new A/C. We had our son stay around during installation to ensure that everything went well. After a callback they gouged me on a t/stst, over 3 times the cost of the item. Though I paid half down and the rest in 30 days I was gouged on the price of the t/stat. I was told there would be no trip charge but only the cost of whatever item he installed- they made ALL their money back by overcharging me 3/4 times what they paid for the item. 220$ for a 50$ t/stat and they said no labor on the call- bad policy
