Buying my first home while being a single female was a scary experience to go into. I was worried about the home inspection on my older house. Tom made sure that I understood his role, what a defect was, and how his report would look. He was very helpful in explaining what he found, ways to fix it, and who he would recommend (ex. plumber, electrician, contractor) to come in and fix it. He put me at ease through the whole inspection, and I would 100% recommend Tom to ANYONE looking for an honest, qualified home inspector.

Tom did an outstanding job with our home inspection reports. While he was inspecting everything, he also took the time to explain to me what the issues were and best way to remedy the issue. Since we spent the whole day together inspecting 2 properties, he made the entire experience an enjoyable one.
The pictures and explanations throughout his detailed report was remarkable. Because of his thoroughness, I was able to use the information to work with the seller to remedy the defects prior to our closing date.

Tom did an exceptional job at not only looking through every nook and cranny, but also took the time to explain everything. He walked us through the house showing what could potentially be "high priority vs. low priority" of replacement or maintenance such as corrosion on the base of the water heater vs. slight moisture building up between the one of the three window panes in the second bedroom. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in the area, thank you again!

Tom did a great job for us in March of 2021. Extremely thorough. Crawling through all the small spaces and checking everything very closely. Report was very detailed with pictures and explanation of all problem issues. He had suggestions for contractors to repair the issues we had. I would highly recommend him.

In the process of buying our first home. I personally don't have much knowledge of house things like the plumbing, electrical, etc. Very happy we went with Tom. He spent hours going through the interior and exterior with us. On top of explaining what he was finding, he gave us tips for what to continue to monitor, how to maintain things, and where to find important things like the gas and water shutoffs. Also, I work nights so getting a hold of people during normal business hours is challenging for me at times. Tom was very responsive to my emails so we could get an appointment scheduled right
