I needed a tire plugged and went next door to Big O, they told me 40$ and a 2 hour wait! I walked next door to La Paz while waiting and spoke to one of the technicians "Eric" and he said he could knock it right out. It took 10 mins tops! He was professional and fast! I'm DEFINITELY COMING HERE IN THE FUTURE!!! RIP BIG O TIRES YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANYMORE OF MY MONEY! Ps- It only cost 20$ here btw!!!! Homerun!!!!

Great service I highly recommend this shop. Quick service and the techs know what they're doing. I had my car towed here due to a push to start issue and they got it fixed ASAP total life savers and they patched my tire without asking to take a look at my tires. I will continue to get my services done here

Stopped by to see Steve with my daughters car who lives out of town. We were urgently needing a quick diagnosis and repair for her car and even with no appointment, luckily it was a smaller item, but Steve was able to accommodate us and took care of us very nicely and quickly. If you're looking for a new Auto Service Technician, definitely give the La Paz service center and Steve an opportunity they were great.

This used to be my favorite local repair shop but something has changed recently that keeps me from recommending them. First the quality of service has dramatically decreased. I asked that a leak be investigated while the brakes were being serviced and when I showed up to pick up the car and asked what they saw in regards to the leak, all I was told was that nothing was documented as a recommended follow up. Sure enough, less than a week later, I notice I have a leak that is worse than ever before. I take the car back to be looked at, and after putting it on the rack, all they tell me is there

These guys are the best. They do great work, friendly and know a lot about cars. I've been coming here with 10 year old 100k mile cars for the past two years. Lots of little and some big things going wrong. I feel they've treated me very fairly and best of all know what they are doing. Thanks Steve and Chris.

I used to go here. I had three cars, two older models and a new Toyota. I was here a lot. Great service. But the customer service Chris is the worst.
The last time I visited was when I brought my Toyota in to get an oil change. The next morning, Saturday, I woke up to a garage floor covered in oil. I drove the car back and met Chris in the parking lot. He proceeded to ask me if I thought I could just bring my car in on Saturday and think I was going to get it fixed. Turns out they striped the filter threads. No big deal but the attitude was inexcusable.
No apology nothing.
I go to another

As a woman who hates to deal with any warning light that comes on, Eric took care of me with his trusty plug in computer in hand. I realized it was not a national emergency that would cost me $100's.
After informing me it was minor and resetting that yellow disaster engine light, I was off and speeding down Aliso Creek.
There was no charge at all. I will happily be back to see Eric at LaPaz Service Center with my other unknown car disasters.

I can't say enough about Chris and La Paz Service Center. I've taken multiple cars there and not only do they professionally repair and maintain them, but they don't rip me off. Whether your car is 1 year old or 50, they have the personnel to properly repair and maintain anything you bring their way.

This place used to be good under the former owner (who unfortunately died) because he ran it honestly. The new owner is not an honest man and has overcharged my wife for services not rendered. When we took the car to another garage, they confirmed that there were some parts not even replaced even though we were charged. And, even after 2k in repairs, my wife's car broke down on the freeway. Under the old management at La Paz Service Center, my wife's car never had any problems. Now it breaks down even after expensive servicing by this place. I truly think they're unethical. I wish

Here is why we love this place:
We recently moved from Colorado to California and before leaving, my husband was told by our old mechanic that our Explorer would need a new serpentine belt as soon as possible amongst a variety of other issues addressed. (Note**we would have replaced the belt without question at that time, but planned to tow it to CA and decided to have it done here.)
After we got here and settled we called La Paz Auto Service on a Saturday morning and asked if they would be able to get it done on that day. We were told it would be no problem. My husband took it down and Steve
