Fine Dining on the banks of the Toccoa River in the Aska Road Adventure area near Blue Ridge, Georgia. Fresh trout, wonderful steaks, fried oysters, and a terrific selection of salads make this a long-standing tradition in the mountains of north Georgia. Our outside deck and bar area is dog friendly! Paddle a canoe down the river and plan your lunch or dinner stop with us.

Had such a great time visiting this little restaurant! We went to hike falls branch falls and the toccoa swinging bridge. We came in for a late lunch, the apps are nice. Wish the. Asked brie came with something other than ritz crackers... we ordered a top sirloin(perfectly cooked, med rare) shrimp and grits( which the flavor was very delicious) a burger that my son really enjoyed the flavor. Tried a few local beers and ordered chocolate dessert cake. The view of the water was beautiful! Definitely suggest going during the day.

Spent a TON of money with a party of 8. Even ordered dessert and coffee at the end. While finishing our coffee and chatting (for an extra ten minutes) the waiter had the audacity to ask us to leave so they could seat other guests. We were still finishing up…! We did not overstay at all! So rude. Plus I have inside sources that informed me the fire a few years back was arson for the insurance money. Seedy place. Foods fine I guess.

So here’s the thing. A three star review is being generous, but here’s my breakdown: Hosts-1 star (the host who sat us didn’t tell any of the servers that we were seated. Overall Service staff-1 star (we were ignored by EVERY server for the full 20 minutes). Our server-5 stars. Management-0 stars. Food-3 stars.
Three stars reflects our overall experience. To start off, we were ignored for 20 minutes. Servers walked past us the entire 20 minutes, and NO ONE approached us to ask if we had been helped. Once we were finally approached, the server was nice, attentive, and very helpful, so she

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant as well as the food. I had blackened trout with collards and cheesy grits. My husband had the ribeye steak with baked potato and black eyed peas. We each had a salad before our entrees. The meal was excellent.

The rustic decor may fool you into thinking this place is a dive, or nothing special. You’d be wrong!!! We got the pimento cheese bake appetizer, I got the catfish, and he got smoked rainbow trout. The fish was cooked to perfection and the veggies ordered on the side were incredible- not at all over done. Even though it was summer time and hot, we sat on the covered patio area and had a beautiful view of the river. A fan was going to keep us cool. I highly recommend and look forward to returning again someday soon!

We always try to stop here when in the area. Great food! Great view of the Toccoa River! Great service too! I had a Shrimp Po Boy and Fries. My wife had the North Atlantic Salmon with Mashed Potatoes and Cheesy Grits. All fresh and excellent! Key Lime Pie for dessert was to die for. We will keep going back. I've also had their fresh trout that is local and super fresh!! They have about 4 dissertations ways they prepare the trout (smoked, blackened, grilled, fried, any way you want it). Highly recommend. We sat and watched the kayakers float through.

The atmosphere and location are fantastic. The service was very good. But the food was terrible. The bbq chick was bland and didn't look appetizing. The children's chicken was burned. Overall not a great dining experience.

We were seated right away which was nice, we sat on the patio with a view of the river.
I had the smoked trout with collards and cheese grits, thoroughly enjoyed it, first time having smoked trout so that was a treat, would definitely have it again. The cheese grits were also very good and I'm not normally a fan of grits.
My wife had the grilled mahi with sweet potato and green beans. The only complaints were that the sides weren't very hot and the black bean burger that another person in our party had was lacking in flavor. The fries that came with it looked delicious but I didn't have one.

WORKS
The location is Amazing ! Let’s start there.
Now, decent food, quick service, clean place...but, something seams off. Like the place is slightly starting to get run down. The food comes out quick, but with not a sense of caring, and even though it tasted okay, it was not super delicious to want to come back and order something different.
It nice experience. To say that you been there.

Definitely a nice and elegant place with a million dollar view of the river. The entrance is not what you would expect when you enter in here. The service was amazing. We had Jessica take care of us and she did a great job from beginning to finish. The food was amazing and came out very timely. Fish dips, fried pickle and calamari for appetizers, fish dip were great. I had the seafood pasta that had the A LOT of seafood, basically a while lobster tail was in it. My wife had the salmon Ceasar salad and my SIL had the fish tacos. The cobbler a must try.. Everything was great about this place, from
