Was very excited to go here after wanting to for a longtime. Went for a friends birthday with a large group. We emailed back and forth with Monteluce about our large group and they went out of their way to not accommodate us at at all. The day we get their they were beyond rude to our entire party. Our server Jordan was the nicest person there. Food was good but, would not recommend ever trying to take a large group here. Take your business somewhere that wants it.

Looks like they lost their best chef. Couple years ago when we tried that place for the first time, we were surprised by the steak they cook there. But in Jan 2022 it was horrible experience for the birthday dinner. Food was inedible, just look at the picture of the Cowboy steak at $100! Piece of low quality meat was boiled, then burnt, finally they pored terribly tasted sauce on top! I cannot explain how bad it was! Such a disappointment! Definitely will never come back there…

Beautiful location, however we had an issue with the hostess and brought it to the managers attention. He was absolutely clueless and had zero people skills, almost as if he was in la la land. Our waiter was very sweet and the my meal was good however my husbands was over cooked and had to be sent back.

Stunning atmosphere, great service, and awesome food!! I was there for an engagement photoshoot that ran late and was so worried when I realized I had no food for my dog for dinner. But the kitchen staff saved the day and prepped some simple grilled chicken for my pup! And this was on a day that they had a limited menu/ were only serving pizza!!! I so appreciate them going above and beyond.

Beautiful restaurant for outdoor dining on a special occasion. I've been here twice- once to celebrate my birthday. Good is great and wine selection is good. Service is top notch. One star off because staff don't observe any COVID protocols.

When you drive up here in the middle of nowhere you will be shocked. You will think you were transformed into Sicily!

Super nice winery area. The Winery itself is very impressive too. The wines are not cheap here though! My wife has eaten at the restaurant and loved it.

I know the wine tasting was great and the views and ambiance are amazing. Super cool place to come to.

Horrible experience for Thanksgiving Dinner! Food was terrible, service was even worse. The pic picture below was the dessert we were served. People were walking out after waiting for an hour for main course which was terrible, no offering of coffee or tea with dessert and for 3 people it was over $300. Shame on them for offering a Thanksgiving Meal that would’ve been better at a local chain restaurant.
The views are beautiful but food and service….terrible!

Our group found a table outside on a cold fall day. We shared three four bottles of wine averaging $60 a bottle. The prices are very high. The place is very scenic with the lake and vineyard. It's a great place to take photos.

Nico is pretty grand. His expertise and menu recommendations were solid and exactly what we were thinking. He created a serene type of service even with a one-year old. We were celebrating marriage, love, and resilience and he created a beautiful experience for us.
You must come here. We will be back!

This place is absolutely beautiful. Great place to sit at the bar and watch the sunset. It's stunning

Dinner: went there 3 times this Fall. First time, it was very nice, food was good, great experience.
2nd visit food was ok, service was terrible.
We went back for Thanksgiving and we feel like we were totally robbed of our money. The soup was barely warm, the salad was good, the main course was terrible. So bad we watched people walk out after the soup. People we waiting 30 minutes just to be served drinks. This was really a rip off of peoples money. They should be embarrassed to

The whole weekend was great. service, location, ambience, & stellar food and drink presentation. The villas & vineyard are a great backdrop to the dining experience. The Dolce & mead were fantastic. The food selection is laser focused, not a large variety but every dish we tried through the weekend was gold. The Filet pasta bolognese was great, we tried the sea food pasta & the wagyu but i cannot recommend anything better than the tuscan soup. Its shines through its geniality through its simplicity. The coffee options were a great closer!

Giving 4 stars instead of three because going in you're going to get high priced, the minute you drive onto the magnificent grounds.
Cheese and Charcuterie board good variety. Crab cake not bready.
Wines were good.
View of vineyards nice and excellent sunset view. Some guy flew in with his private helicopter, so like it said, expect high prices.
Service excellent. Isabella C blessed us

Our five to ten minute wait for a table became twenty minutes... our actual waitress didn't appear until nearly ten minutes after being seated... and service of our order to table took nearly a hour. The hostess apologized two times and our waitress no less than four times concerning the service issues with getting the food out.
I am torn on my rating and review as I was the Broiler Chef of a high end country club in Denver as well as have owned my own catering business, so the balance between the need to be open and knowing when to close because your ability to perform is so degraded that you

Overall wonderful visit. More expensive than most of the other wineries in the area, but mostly worth it.

Attire...Overall, you can wear sweatpants or dress up I saw a good mix of casual and fancy. We came for my friends birthday to do a wine tasting and eat some delicious food.

Immediately upon arriving you feel welcomed and it is a beautiful building inside and out. The views are stunning.

The wines:
We didn't find one we absolutely hated which is a big pro. I was not a fan of the mead, but mead is not my go to so I wasn't surprised.

We did a tasting ($22/ea) and then bought

This is a beautiful vineyard for Northern Georgia trips. We rented a group van for the day and made a long stop at Montaluce. The vineyard is a fave for events like weddings, and the view is spectacular. There is a tasting room, casual dining room and bar, and more formal dining room. Our group used the formal dining room for a lunch and tasting. We enjoyed exploring their selection. The food and wine were just ok but no complaints!

A bit of upselling was tiring during our late lunch. Every wine we tasted came with a pitch to order more of this and that.

We are happy to see the evolution of this winery. It's been a couple of years since we have been here and the addition of the Trattoria is a nice touch. What an absolutely enjoyable day, grabbed a bottle of cab and walked the vineyard and finally settled under the oak tree by the pond and laying in the grass soaking in the sun.

We had a lovely dinner at this lovely winery restaurant. We sat outside and had a great view overlooking the vineyards. Our server Catherine was friendly and knowledgeable. She made excellent recommendations. We started with a glass of Cab and the Chardonnay. The Cabernet was especially good, though pricey at $20 per glass. For dinner we had the summer berry salad, the filet Mongin bolognese and the salmon. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Fir dessert we had the "coco loco" which had banana bread, gelato, and coconut mousse. We could have licked the plate. An excellent

Best winery in North Georgia!!! The views are amazing! We did a wine hike and learned so much about the property and the wines! We started with a wine tasting and loved it! Even got to keep our tasting glass. We finished up with dinner and you can tell the Chef works very hard on flavor and presentation. Everything we ordered was crazy good. The staff is super sweet and helpful. Overall best experience ever. Will definitely be back!

I had friends visiting from out of town. They wanted to experience wine tasting and tour a vineyard. I selected Montaluce because although I have visited several vineyards, I had not visited this one. The pictures online looked amazing and they had just hosted out Governor the night before, I just knew I was going to be able to impress my friends....wrong. This is a lengthy review...but worth the read.

Commute:
It was about an hour drive up 400 from Atlanta. Once you passed the outlets, the route gets really...really rural. Beautiful....but rural. There are signs posted to make sure you&apos

To think you could sit at an Italian Vineyard in the mountains of Georgia. The drive was beautiful, the grounds equally so. The restaurant architecture amazing. In this area there are not many romantic upscale places to enjoy an evening. We chose it because it was open late on a Tuesday. The wine was good. The food was perfect. They really deserved better than a 4 but I have two critiques for the overall experience. You get a QR code for a menu....don't love it. After we each chose to drink a flight of 5 wines, they said they do not serve flights outside. We chose the outside table to eat overlooking

We booked a Book a Montaluce Wine Hike for a saturday. Our tour guide was Adam and he was fantastic and super knowledge about the area. The hike ticket include a 5 glass wine tasting after the hike and you get to keep the glass as a souvenir. The hike was around 2 miles and I would rate it as intermediate (I am a slow and lazy hiker). We also enjoyed lunch in their 3rd floor terrace that has a fantastic view of the winery. Our waitress was Bree and she was the best, very honest about the menu and her recommendations were on point. There is plenty of parking but plan accordingly it is up a hill

This Sunday, a couple friends, my beau and I visited this lovely winery nestled in the north Georgia mountains. From the picturesque drive up to the breathtaking views, we had a great time from start to finish.

We arrived after about an hour and a half drive from Atlanta. The scenery upon arrival was so lovely. The grass was so green and the sky was so blue! It seemed as if we picked the perfect day to experience the winery. We had brunch at the winery's restaurant. Our waiter, Christian, was very attentive and charming. He made good recommendations and even surprised us at the end with a

An impressive and beautiful vineyard. You drive up and it's like wow where am I? If you want to sit outside and enjoy the view you must order dinner. Tastings only at the bar which is a bummer.

We stayed for dinner to soak up the view. The waitress was lovely. The good was ok. The pasta, orzo, lacked flavor. The pork chop was ok. The soup was a bit salty. Come for the views and experience.
