Lamb's Gate Christian School
We are thrilled to have you be a part of our community! Lamb's Gate Christian School has been a part of the Tucson community since the year 1974. We are a ministry of The Journey Evangelical Free Church and our mission is to demonstrate God's love, in word and deed, to all families in our city. Each of our students are valued and we seek to meet their individual needs: educational, spiritual, social, physical, and emotional.

Lamb's Gate is an inclusive program which welcomes students with special needs. We celebrate the relationship between both typically and atypically developing students and believe they can learn much from each other.
Services
Lamb's Gate provides a high quality education in a positive, loving Christian environment that nurtures the spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of children. We offer small class sizes, with a teacher and teaching assistant in every classroom, for ages 18 months through Kindergarten.
Lamb's Gate was established in 1974 by Marie Williams. She had completed her Master's thesis on developing a preschool program and was challenged by several church members to put her thesis into reality. Through the financial support and encouragement of First Evangelical Free Church (now Journey Church), her thesis became Lamb's Gate Preschool.
ECD provides an excellent foundation of growth and learning for young children. Students will learn through activities that are planned around themes. The lessons will include activities that help the child develop social, self-help, communication, motor, and cognitive skills. Students will be introduced to the building blocks of learning that will help prepare them for the future.
Our Kinder Bridge class is a half day program that meets five days a week. This unique program was started to give students one more year of development before they enter a full day kindergarten program. It is a wonderful fit for students who turn five in the summer or early fall or for those who might benefit from a half day program over a full day program.
We are thankful to have a committed staff member on campus between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. who is available to watch your child if you need to drop them off early. Please contact the office to preregister for this program or you may choose to drop-in. Drop-ins must first contact the office to ensure there is space available for that day.

Love this preschool and community! I sent my daughter from age 2-5 and now my son is attending! I love that I can choose the number of days a week that he can attend. And the full day option is valuable. All the teachers are creative and kind while teaching these littles so much!

I love Lamb's Gate. My children are so well loved at this school. All learning is child driven and play based. The teachers show passion and such tenderness and care. My children are very different and have been embraced and celebrated in their differences and affirmed every step of the way. Also knowing they are surrounded by the love of Christ is such a treasure. I cannot say enough what a blessing and gift this school is and has been especially during COVID times. They have handled every challenge with amazing communication and transparency. So many amazing people. Also the sensory room

I really Love this school, or maybe Ms. Kristen and Ms. Becca are the best teachers. There was a minor issue with a staff member there, but if you can avoid that individual the rest of the staff and the schools Director are WONDERFUL! I read a review that this school was Tucson's best kept secret, and I strongly agree! The location is great too, it gives you a sense of seclusion, and safeness.

This is such a great school for young kids! My 3 1/2 year old goes here now and my 2 year old will be here next year. The teachers are so loving and patient. I love that there is a hint of a curriculum, while still maintaining healthy playtime. I only wish the day went until 1, instead of 12.
