Catagnus Funeral Homes has four locations, Pottstown, Gilbertsville, Royersford, and Trappe. Founded in 1985 by Gregg S. Catagnus and his wife Mindy, Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center Inc. is dedicated to the finest professional service to all faiths, to the Pottstown area. In 1994 Mr. Catagnus opened the second Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc. located at 1020 East Philadelphia Avenue in Gilbertsville, PA.
Gregg and Mindy Catagnus, opened the Pottstown Funeral Home Location, located at 711 N. Franklin St. In February of 1985. They proudly are a first generation funeral and cremation business, serving Pottstown and all surrounding communities. They have grown that business to be the largest provider of funeral and cremation services in the Tri-County area.
Gregg and Mindy Catagnus opened their third location at 329 N. Lewis Road in May of 2004. They expanded their business from the Pottstown area and the Boyertown Area to serve the Royersford/Limerick and surrounding communities with the same "Caring & Compassionate Services". After many years of serving family's at the Royersford Location, the business has grown to be the largest provider of Funeral and cremation services in the Tri-County area.
In 1983 Gregg graduated from Northampton County Community College Funeral Service Education Program, and by 1984 he was a licensed Pennsylvania Funeral Director. In 1985, after having worked at two other funeral homes, he opened Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc. Gregg purchased his first location at 711 North Franklin Street in Pottstown, PA.
