Continue on Route 100 for three traffic lights to State Street. Turn right onto State Street, Giant Supermarket Complex on corner. Continue to first traffic light - Turn left onto Wilson Street. Cemetery on right side. Continue for three traffic lights to Charlotte Street. Turn left onto Charlotte Street Continue on Charlotte Street for four blocks, Funeral Home on the left.

Russell Gofus, worked for the Houck Funeral Home during his high school years. Russell is a 1982 graduate of Pottstown High School and a Northampton County Area Community College School of Funeral Service graduate. He served his professional funeral service internship under the supervision of Herbert F. Houck.

I would like to thank Tyler and Kelsey of Houck and Gofus Funeral Home, from the bottom of my heart and families heart. We had to lay my grandmother to rest recently and I can not be more grateful for the kindness, care, attention to detail and the love these two displayed. They made us feel like they were part of our family. Tyler was able to walk us through from beginning to end of planing and was always available for any questions or concerns we may of had. Kelsey put together an amazing picture tribute of my grandmothers life. It was displayed on a television screen upon entering the funeral

Tyler and Kelsey were truly a blessing. Because of their attention to details, the service for my father-in-law went very smoothly. They provided and arranged everything we requested. The special touches they provided made the service memorable and meaningful. We kept receiving calls days later on how beautiful the service was. We visited other funeral homes however, they did not provide the same type of service as Houck and Gofus. We were told on several of our requests that the family would have to provide. Houck and Gofus funeral home exceeded all expectations in dealing with the arrangement of my father’s sudden passing. They were kind, helpful, compassionate and efficient. They went above and beyond to help with last minute details. When it came to my dad’s body, they were able to make it look like he was sleeping, I could not believe my eyes. This is truly a wonderful establishment and I would recommend it to anyone who is in need of their services.

Houck & Gofus provides knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate service at one of the worst times in people's lives. Tyler and Kelsey provided a true 'soup to nuts' service that exceeded our expectations and hopes. The handout, the slideshow, the decoration of the funeral home with Dad's stuff during the service, the blanket, the sign in book, the photo collage, the death certificates, etc. was all taken care of with minimal effort on our part and done so with high quality and compassion. Our family highly recommends using their services and thanks them for all they did for us.

Tyler and Kelsey are fantastic! They partnered with our family for our Mother's funeral. They quietly, and quickly, attended to every detail, asked questions we didn't think about, and made this difficult occasion seamless. The funeral home is spotless and well equipped. They use current technology, like webcast of the funeral for those who couldn't attend in person and online condolences. We highly recommend them!
