As a mixed animal practice we proudly open our doors to a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, pocket pets, rabbits, birds, reptiles, farm animals, horses, chickens, goats, and fish. Our hospital and team is equipped and trained to provide for the individual needs of your animal regardless of species.

What a great place to take your furry family members when they need medical help. They also give great advice over the phone and don't immediately say " bring him in" so they can charge you for it.
They truly care about your animals well being.
They also take care of baby fawns in the spring for people who won't just leave them be.

Up until yesterday I had amazing experiences with this vet! Yesterday I brought my cat in and it was his first time going to this veterinarian so I gave them all of my paperwork that I had about him for his file and so they knew what he had done before. They did not look at them and didn’t ask me about giving him vaccines before they went ahead and gave him 2 vaccines that he ALREADY HAD! They said it was a miss communication with the paperwork because the technician didn’t read it and lied to the doctor saying that I said yes to the shots. When they came out they told me that they gave him

GET A SECOND OPINION (if you can afford it??) Took my cat here and they said she had cancer most likely. Gave me a chemo drug without telling us the risks or what that entailed for home care. Had several tests done but they didn't do a GI blood test like I requested since my cat had history with pancreas issues. Spent all that money on other tests for them to tell me "inconclusive probably cancer".
I took her to Union and they did the correct blood test, turns out it's NOT cancer and just a vitamin B deficiency. This particular vet likes to get money out of you and won't listen.

We have been so happy with our dog's care here. We switched because we wanted a more family friendly environment, and Mt. Spokane definitely delivers that. They make it very easy to bring children along by coming out to get our dog at the car and bringing him back. All health issues we have encountered have been dealt with thoroughly and kindly, and they are so friendly and reasonable to deal with, giving understanding and manageable real world care instructions. All my questions were thoroughly answered and I never felt like our appointment was being rushed through. I also love the atmosphere

The entire staff that I met were so amazing and so kind. Our Siberian Husky Pup Witcher adored them, and they were so good to him and us. I cannot wait to see them at upcoming appointments! Also, when you have to call, the staff that answer the phones are so kind and courteous too! This vet is truly amazing and I can guarantee that your animals WILL be loved and cared for! You guys are amazing!!! ☺️

What is not to LOVE about Mt.Spokane Veterinary Hospital.. we have trusted our amazing Italian Mastini and French Bulldogs w/ the staff at Mt. Spokane for many years now.. The only thing to surpass the quality of care this establishment provides for our beloved companions, is their diligent, caring team of Doctors, Techs, Assistants & Receptionists..
