We believe that, in every case but rug cleaning, you should always put in more than you take out. That's why all of us at RevitaRUGS are committed to supporting our local communities and good works, wherever they're performed. Our office is virtually paper-free and we recycle everything, cardboard, plastic, glass, and paper, just as you would at home.
I send my beloved kilim that after many years was in an extremely pitiful state to repair to Revita rugs. We were fortunate to inherit a very old, beautiful handmade oriental rug. After many years of my young kids and dog beating on the rug it began to look very weathered and not smell very good. With a newborn child and 7 year old child AND 2 dogs I thought NOTHING would help save our area carpet.
Soft Water: when water condenses from the atmosphere as rain, it is basically PURE WATER since it has not been in contact with the earth and ground, and is therefore very "soft" water because it does not contain any dissolved minerals.
Hard Water: is any water containing an appreciable quantity of dissolved minerals such as Calcium and Magnesium and is usually found in Well water and many Municipalities Tap water, particularly in the Tri-State NY area.As water makes its way through the ground and into our waterways, it picks up a considerable amount of minerals, like chalk, lime and mostly calcium and magnesium.

I took 4 old but valuable rugs to Revita to have them cleaned and repaired. One of the rugs had a sizeable burn make in the middle, others had deteriorating fringes.
I was shocked at how perfectly Revita cleaned and repaired these rugs. It was quite remarkable, and their pricing was very reasonable.

I found RevitaRugs in 2007. My dog had damaged an authentic Persian rug that my son sent me from Iraq. Mr. Hamid Zarei did an entire reweave of the area that was ruined. To this day, I cannot find exactly where it was repaired. I just had another Revita do another small repair on the same rug, plus a treatment to repel stains (very helpful with vegetable dye). While Mr. Zarei and I were chatting about returning the rug to my new apartment in Virginia, I told him how badly the movers had damaged the 1952 chairs that my mother bought the year before she died. I had the misfortune of having color bleed in the very center of the rug due to a liquid spill. I attempted to address this issue myself with online suggestions and home remedies, all for naught. I realized this issue would need to be professionally serviced, I contacted RevitaRugs and they promptly responded and provided me with pricing options to address the color bleed/overall cleaning. The added bonus was they came to my home for both pickup and dropoff for the rug. The process took about a week and upon looking at my rug, you could never tell there was a color bleed. I sent an expensive custom-made rug to Revita to be cleaned and they ruined it.
They picked up the rug, which was in excellent condition, and were supposed to return it in 1 week. Without letting me know in advance it was not returned the next week. When I called to check on it, I was told that it was still wet, and it would be returned to me in another weeks’ time. They also said that the rug was in good condition.
It was returned the next week, but it was no longer in good condition. Having been wet so long the carpet had delaminated (a condition where the secondary backing of the carpet

I bought a white Viscose rug from Restoration Hardware last year and I spilled some red wine a few weeks ago.
I was very mad since I had a viscose rug in the past and when I had it washed from a local company, they completely damaged the rug. I looked online from a different solution and found revitaRUGS. They are probably the only company that can wash bamboo silk. The rug looks like new when returned.

The team at Revita Rugs has come through splendidly for us. In an effort to clean and repair 5 antique carpets, four 18th century Aubussons and one 19th century Savonnerie, we interviewed several companies. I highly recommend Revita Rugs. I used to live in NYC, but now live in California and I still use them to clean my beautiful carpets. Last year, I purchased a synthetic silk on cotton carpet in Turkey and recently sent it to NJ to have it cleaned by Revita Rugs. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY!!!! I have two cats that have thrown up on the carpet a few times.... Of course, I picked up the mess immediately after discovering it. I was hesitate on cleaning the carpet myself with chemical products. I only used water and dabbed the carpet with a towel. I was also advised not to use soap because the suds get stuck

First I have to say that I did NOT get my rugs cleaned by revitaRUGS. I did however call them for an estimate and I have to say the person who answered the phone was a true professional! he knew I wasn't going to pay $200 to clean my $350 CB2 rugs, but spent time on the phone with me going over my other options and being very patient despite the fact that he obviously wasn't going for a sale. Kudos, someone else would've rushed me off the phone.
