As a teenager, I fell in love with photography and its ability to tell the story of life's most beautiful moments in a single frame. I cannot say enough good things about Catie. She was so easy to work with and was very communicative throughout the entire process, providing lots of information for styling and location options. When covid changed our wedding plans, she was extremely flexible and honored our engagement shoot even though we had to cancel our ceremony. My husband and I aren’t super comfortable in front of a camera, but Catie’s energy and professionalism made this process way more enjoyable. We will cherish these pictures and this time together with Catie from our engagement shoot. We cannot recommend Catie enough

My wife and I just had Catie come and photograph our wedding in the SF Bay Area and she did the most amazing job. When we were looking for a photographer, Catie was my wife's number one choice. Catie photographed our wedding last month in Sonoma and she did an amazing job! She is professional, genuine, and talented. The candid moments she captured during our ceremony, in addition to our beautiful sunset portraits, are ones I will cherish forever. Catie is as good as it gets. We have been lucky enough to know her for about 7 years now and have had almost as many family photo shoots with her. Every time we get the photos back we say, "these are the best photos we've ever gotten". She continues to delight us with her work. And she's a lovely, lovely person to boot!! Hire her. I had a last minute idea to hire a photographer for a little wine event I put together for my bridesmaid after recently asking them to be a bridesmaid. Someone referred me to Catie and I instantly loved her portfolio and reached out to her. She was fast to respond and very professional. She emailed over a pdf that was full of helpful tips about suggested things to wear and what not that typically photograph well. Catie Coyle was incredible to work with, not only for our wedding but also before our wedding for the love session package as well. She was not only highly professional, but also flexible in handling unexpected situations that came up during our wedding, including a relative during our wedding who was acting as a rogue second photographer, and above-and-beyond requests for additional family combination pictures after the ceremony. All of this without complaining or extra fees.

When selecting a photographer, it's important to understand that this person will forever frame and shape how you remember a specific point in time. Catie photographed our wedding on 8/8/15 and we could not have been more pleased with the results. Catie was UNBELIEVABLE throughout our wedding process & went above and beyond for us on several occasions. She is not only incredibly talented, with a great eye for "in the moment" shots, but she is also a delight to work with in general.
We couldn't have imagined having someone else do our photography & are incredibly thankful to have worked with her.

Catie is amazing! She took wedding photos at my January 2014 San Diego wedding & I cannot tell you how many compliments I've received from everyone who sees our pictures! She did a great job of making my husband & I feel calm, as well as our many family members with crazy personalities. Catie worked with the natural lighting to take some breathtaking outdoor shots, then found perfect locations for our indoor shots, as well. She's like a photographic ninja, making her way around the wedding guests and room, taking pictures of everyone, without interrupting the flow of the event

Choosing the right photographer for our wedding was incredibly important to us. We wanted pictures that would beautifully capture our day. We searched all the wedding websites, wedding blogs, and looked at probably around 75 photographers online to narrow it down to a few. This review is completely overdue because I look at my engagement pictures every single day and not a day goes by when I don't get a compliment at how amazing my pictures are. Catie is a fantastic photographer, my fiancé does not enjoy having his picture taken, I don't know why, he is absolutely adorable! Catie made him feel comfortable, went along with his facetious sense of humor and captured our fun loving relationship on camera so well! I used Catie Coyle Photography for my wedding on 8/24/12 at the Brazil Room in Tilden Park, Berkeley. She did an amazing job, as did her 2nd shooter! Catie is a true professional. She never missed a shot or a special detail - in fact, she thought of things that we didn't that really made a difference for us once the pictures were done!
