Jennifer Hankey, Atlanta's eco-friendly services expert, launched the Green Queen after educating locals about the dangers of chemicals in everyday products since 2010. Hankey's passion for natural living was emphasized even more when her own daughter was born with 19 food allergies and severe eczema in 2011.
With no family history and desperate to find an answer, Hankey began to investigate how environmental factors are linked to the increasing frequency of conditions in children. She was shocked to learn that 54 percent of children are now facing a chronic condition, 12 percent have asthma, and 13 percent have food allergies.

My husband and I purchased a home built in the 70’s and renovated it. We knew due to age, we would need to get pest inspections and on a regular pest control schedule. I am more inclined to use natural products if possible as we have pets and kids. Much to my delight I came across Green Queen. Always on time, friendly and answers questions. I wouldn’t pick another pest control company. From the time I spent on the phone with representative to the techs that come visit and do routine inspections/control, it’s been amazing!

I signed up with Green Queen in May 2021 for organic weed control of my lawn. It's now October and the weeds have almost completely overtaken my lawn. I called to complain, and while their customer service rep was polite, she conceded that Green Queen's services for its customers this summer was subpar. They blamed the weather, but that's what weather forecasts are for (for example, today's application was done right before the forecast plainly said it would rain). Bottom line is I paid (handsomely) for a service that I didn't get. I'm moving on to another weed control service. I'm a data sample

I've used Green Queen for years as I have young children and limiting exposure to toxins is important to me. Finding a company that could provide pollinator-friendly yet effective mosquito control was a godsend, but I love them for their lawn management services as well! I love that the company was started by a mom who CARES and is run with a customer-service focus too. Highly recommend!

We use the lawn weed and feed service, which doesn't use harsh chemicals. We started in late summer of 2020 shortly after the sod was installed. So far the lawn looks good, with a few small yellow patches. But . . .the weeds aren't gone. I was informed it will take time since the treatment is more eco-friendly. Will update my review in a few months.

Keenan just left my home for the first treatment. He was incredibly friendly and professional! He took the time to explain the process as well as some potential reasons bugs were getting into my home. He eased my mind about the spray being safe for my cat to be around. Just had our first service and I can't think of enough good things to say. Scheduling and pricing was easy. Our tech was communicative and right on time. The payment process was super easy. Everything so far is just the way you want with a service like this. Only regret is not switching over sooner.

I have been using Green Queen for the past several months. They are great because not only are they good cleaners, but they are flexible. They don't use harsh chemicals throughout the house, but make the home very clean. They are reasonably priced and trustworthy cleaners. I would recommend to those looking!

I'll never use GQ again. *they give discounts for yelp reviews!!! They showed up late to the appointment (over an hour late), took 5 hours (to clean 700 sq ft), They also used my own cleaning products (went through my cabinets to find them) and then I never received an invoice. I finally got a hold of someone to pay the invoice (about a month later), and then she told me she was sending to collections even though I never received invoice. I needed my new place cleaned before I moved in, so I started calling around. It was really short notice, but Green Queen was able to fit me in. I did the deep clean since I wanted cabinets and stuff hit, but I think there should be another option for my sort of situation since the place was empty and not terribly dirty. Either way, they did a pretty thorough job, though I noticed some spots were missed. The oven didn't seem to get a deep clean despite explicitly asking for oven cleaning. I didn't look close enough at it before moving in to know, but there was still gunk in the bottom

Green Queen has been fantastic for us since we made the switch. We love the fact that they use only green, non toxic cleaning supplies. They are always very punctual, arriving exactly when they arrange to arrive in advance. The quality of the cleaning is much better than we've experienced with other companies. In many cases, they go above and beyond our expectations. I also like the fact that they accept payment via credit card rather.than only a check or cash. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a new cleaning company.

I just moved into a new home and needed a deep move in cleaning as soon as possible. I had made an appointment with a different company for the following day when my call was returned by Green Queen. I was told they could clean my house the next day at an earlier time than the other company. So I cancelled a different appointment and made it with Green Queen for 12pm.
The next day at 12pm no one came, and no one answered any calls or texts. Because I really needed this cleaning I quickly called back the other company (quickly meaning 30 minutes later - after 3 calls and a text) and rescheduled

Green queen cleaning service is the best! The cleaners bring their own TRULY non toxic cleaning supplies. They also cleaned the baseboards and windowsills which others typically charge extra for. Do keep that in mind when factoring the price of service. It may cost a little more than your average cleaning services, but worth the money when you consider how good and thorough of a job they do and the fact that they don't use any chemical ridden cleaning agents. They offer first time incentives, and discounts.
