I have always been passionate about helping others. I thoroughly enjoy guiding people through obstacles and teaching coping skills that people can walk away with and use for the rest of their lives. I specialize in helping teens and adults who are struggling to manage stress, depression, anxiety, anger, addiction, relationships, and overall life balance.

I have a genuine interest in providing holistic and individualized care to each client I meet and I strive to provide a trusting and comfortable environment to work within. I am always learning from my clients and I feel fortunate to be a part of each of their journeys.

Anxiety is our body's natural response to stress. When we perceive something as a threat, we have both a cognitive and a physical response. Cognitively, we might think to ourselves "oh no, something bad is about to happen." This thought sends a signal to our amygdala that triggers our body's alarm system to kick on.

It's a normal reaction to loss or a stressful life challenge. But when intense sadness lasts for many days to weeks and keeps you from living your life, it may be something more.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a treatment approach that helps you recognize negative or unhelpful thought and behavior patterns. Many experts consider it to be the gold standard of psychotherapy. CBT aims to help you identify and explore the ways your emotions and thoughts can affect your actions.
