The driver was a no show. When I called the company, they didn't care. They said the driver missed the pick up and didn't offer to send another driver. I ended up getting an Uber and almost missed our flight. DO NOT USE CARMEL CAR SERVICE!!

I wish I had seen these reviews before I booked. STAY AWAY! They left me stranded at LAX -- let me know as my flight was landing (even though I booked months in advance). Save yourself the aggravation and book elsewhere!

I made reservation a week in advance for a 5am pick up from LAX to home after a red eye. When we arrived at the airport after a long flight and called for our pick up, I was told they sent me an email 3 hours earlier that they had to cancel as they didn't have a car. Seriously??? I'm not sure how many people are on their email over the pacific ocean at 2am but I'm certainly not. They had a week to find a car for us. This is not acceptable or professional.

Do not use this service! We booked and paid for a ride to the airport through Expedia. The company confirmed the reservation the day before. Day of they were 15 minutes late. I called and waited on hold for an additional 7 minutes. When someone finally came to help they said they didn’t have a Car available for us and could not take us to the airport. They left us stranded in strange city with 4 children and no way to get to the airport. I asked for a refund and they said we had to go through Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they have to get approval through Carmel. It’s been 3 weeks and still

I scheduled a car for pick up at LAX at 12:30am. My plane landed at 11:41pm, but we arrived at the gate at 12:18am. Beginning at 11:47pm the driver was texting me that she was there. I clearly told her for the next 31 minutes that we were not at the gate. The official arrival time is noted as 12:18am. At 12:41am she texts me that she has to leave because she can’t sit at the Terminal. LAX is a no stopping/no wait zone at all Terminals. At 12:46am she texts me that there is a $20 wait fee. Terrible NYC experience! This driver had so much stuff in his trunk and floorboard and then try to refuse to drive us w our luggage. The company charged us an extra $45 for a minivan price to transport the luggage. Then the driver refused to turn the AC up on our 2 hour ride. Use another service!

I booked my airport transportation through Expedia, thinking they would have a contract with a reliable car service company. I needed transportation from the airport to my Hotel in Hawaii. Carmel emails me to get in contact with them so I call. They kept transferring me to "dispatch" but after a few minutes on hold, it would re-route me back to the main number. After being sent back 5 times (and explaining each time why I had been transferred) and on the phone for almost an hour, someone finally answered. They tell me that Expedia had quoted me wrong. They wanted to charge me an additional $107

Never never use. Two times we “confirmed” a car and never got picked up either time. After standing around we called and were told no cars available. On a Tuesday in the middle of the day. Their answer- get your money back. Horrible horrible horrible.
