At Clemmons Law Firm, our experienced attorneys have decades of combined experience with diverse backgrounds that allow us to effectively assess the needs of each client and make sound recommendations prior to retaining us. Clemmons Law Firm truly cares about the communities we serve- Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, Surfside Beach, Conway, North Myrtle Beach, and all of The Grand Strand.
I am a proud fourth-generation native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Upon my graduation from Myrtle Beach High School in 1977, I volunteered to be a lay missionary to the native Maya of Southern Mexico, where I served until 1980. When I returned to Myrtle Beach, I attended Coastal Carolina University and graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
Although originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, I moved to Myrtle Beach at the beginning of my legal career in 1993 and have been a dedicated Seahawk ever since. Having graduated from Campbell University's Business School in 1989, I continued my studies at Campbell's Norman A Wiggins School of Law, in Buies Creek.
Myrtle Beach is a wonderful place to build or buy second homes. Many members of our community escape weather conditions elsewhere to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the South Carolina coast. If I could give negative stars I would. The experience my wife and I had was absolutely RIDICULOUS! Let's see how our experience was.
1. They showed up to our closing appointment 30 minutes late.... (great start)
2. We closed on Friday, February 21st and had not heard a word from either our agent or lawyer about the sale being recorded. We finally had to reach out to them and over an hour later we were notified the funds were on hold and had not cleared. (not to mention the buyer has already moved into the house)
3. On a Friday night we had to go back and forth to setup a rental agreement to

I had a closing this morning at Clemmons Law with a Seller client. Clemmons Law had everything ready, their communication was excellent, and the closing occurred perfectly. I don't even know where to start...
I do realize they do things a little different down here, but seriously, there should be certain standards of practice that are universal.
Each client folder should contain a check off sheet based on the type of case. Each step should be documented and the file noted with dates items were completed and dates items are due to be completed, this way anyone on the team can pitch in if needed and nothing falls through the cracks providing seamless service to your clients.
Clients should be updated on status without having to beg for it.
