From simple estate plans to complex litigation, Butler Law does one thing above all else: We listen to your needs. At Butler Law, we believe the appropriate practice of law begins with closely listening to our clients. We will take the time to understand your concerns, your assets and your goals. Then we will work to help you achieve these goals in the most efficient manner possible.

We create estate plans to protect your assets and your beneficiaries using wills, trusts and other legal tools. Attorney Dan Butler will guide you through the South Carolina probate and estate administration process. We provide commercial legal services, including formation of limited liability companies and corporations.
Services
When you retain the legal services of Butler Law, your case will be handled personally by Dan Butler, an attorney with more than 13 years of experience in estate planning, probate and estate administration, business law and civil litigation. Dan's local roots go back to 1984, when he and his family first moved to Conway, South Carolina.
Few decisions in life have the same far-reaching implications of estate planning. They not only protect the legacy you spent a lifetime building, but also help care for and protect your loved ones after your passing. At Butler Law, we help clients achieve the primary estate planning goals of maximizing the preservation of assets and ease of transfer of assets after death.
An effective estate plan is vital to ensuring you provide for loved ones and distribute assets according to your final wishes. Without an established estate plan in place at the time of your passing, your assets may be tied up in lengthy public court proceedings. At Butler Law, we take our clients' concerns to heart and help them craft an estate plan that will ease the process of distributing the assets they spent a lifetime accumulating.
At Butler Law, we are passionate about representing our clients' best interests through comprehensive estate planning. And one of the primary goals of many clients is the preservation of the assets they have spent many years accumulating. Today's estate tax laws are complicated and often confusing enough.
Although it is an honor to be designated as an executor of a family member or friend's probate estate, it is also a position that comes with exceptional responsibility. Administering an estate often involves placing yourself in the middle of contentious legal matters and family infighting. As an administrator of an estate, you may even be personally liable for mistakes made in the process.

Came in from out of state to see the lawyer without an appointment, and he came out and answered the few questions I had at no charge. It was much appreciated

Danny Butler spoke with me about an Elder Law matter where I needed some direction and just a sounding board to see if I was attacking the problem in the best manner. He listened and gave me some very very helpful advice about the matter in a free consultation and I sincerely appreciate it and would hire him if I needed counsel in this matter.
