Our agency helps with behavior observations and provides redirection to the recipient for episodes of behavior needing redirection as identified in the care plan. Personal Care Choice is a program that empowers individuals to independently recruit, hire, and train the PCAs who provide their care.
The PCA Choice option gives individuals a greater level of responsibility in managing their own care while providing a fiscal intermediary to assist in handling the employment and management-related functions of their PCA.The PCA Choice provider jointly employs the PCA, bills for the services, and pays the PCA and the qualified professional.

How do I request a renewal when my service agreement is going to end? (For PCA Services only). For non-waivered participants, Atrio Home Health Care sends a request on your behalf 60 days before your service agreement ends to renew your PCA services. For waivered participants, it is the responsibility of the assigned case manager through the county and we do not send a notice to their case manager.
I also know that if there is ever a time that I am unsure of how to respond to a situation during my shift, I know I can reference the Policy and Procedure Manual to find the answer before I consult with my supervisor or the person who is on-call. Falsely claiming hours on your timesheets and dates are fraud and can cause support worker to be kicked out of the health care program.
