From modest beginnings in 1978 with two trucks and a repair shop, we have managed to build our business to 22 pieces of equipment. Perlman's provides light duty road service including lockouts, flat tires and jump starts. In the near future, we will be implementing a new mobile battery service where we will test your vehicles charging system at the convenience of your own home or place of business.
If needed, we will be able to charge your battery or install a new one on site, or let you know if your charging system requires repair. Perlman's provides service for the Northeast including eastern New York, southern Vermont & western Massachusetts. We are proud participants of Geico, Allstate, Cross Country, GE Financial Assurance, United States Auto Club, American Travelers, Assurion, and Road America.

Great company. Called on a busy snow day, all their drivers were out, the guy on the phone was so helpful, luckily it wasn't an emergency, so we were able to work out a time for someone to get here and help me. Other places I called either said NO they couldn't help or they didn't service the area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PERLMAN'S.

NEVER. USE. THIS. COMPANY...EVER.
I needed a tow and called my roadside assistance at 430p to help. Perlman's is contracted through them and was dispatched to assist. I was told it was going to be a two hour wait even though they are contracted only for an hour wait. Fine. Two hours pass and no one showed up. I called my road side assistance and when they contacted Perlman's, Perlman's said they canceled the tow because their truck broke down. A towing company only has one truck?!? No one ever called to say the tow was canceled. So now I have to wait ANOTHER hour for a different

Never using these guys again! Your time means nothing to them!! Nothing but games!
Scheduled a tow a day in advance with these guys through my insurance for 10-10:30 am eta for a tow. The guy called an hour early saying he would be there in few min (9am) to which I told him my apt was at 10 not 9 I could get there in 10 min but no sooner. He then started arguing with me about how he wasn't going to wait or come back and how in a nasty tone "I should have been better prepared" smh I should have been prepared because you show up on a Monday when you want? Anyways so I said ok hung

Waited 2 1/2 hours..they never showed, never called. Claims he didn't receive the order placed from VERIZON Roadside...its a lie. They pulled the same thing aboout 1 1/2 ago. And was EXTREMELY rude (yelling & screaming) to the Verizon representative. It was a 3 way call w/Me included.. when Verizon rep. called to just ask if he could identify the… call that was origionally placed..was not willing AT ALL..I heard everything. He was NASTY from the 1st word out of his mouth. Never tried to work with us. Did NOT want the tow. VERY unprofessional and does NOT care about their customers. Highly

My BF has a warranty for roadside assistance for his vehicle. It is worth paying a reputable company. The battery died and unfortunately the charger I bought him for Christmas was not in the car where it belongs.
I had AAA with all my vehicles and the wait was very short, twenty minutes tops. So naturally I expected all roadside assistance is the same. NO!! Two hours wait? Are you kidding me? To send a guy with a handheld charger? If we were in the middle of the ghetto we would have died.
The moral of the story is if you do not mind being lost in an undesirable area, trapped in your vehicle

Horrible service. I had an eta of 90 minutes! After 97 minutes I called and was told they would be here any minute. I waited another 15 minutes then called my insurance company who advised me that Perlman stated they needed more time. They couldn't even provide a new eta or even call me to tell me anything! I ended up having to have the insurance company contact another towing company. So basically Perlman 's wasted 2 hours of my time and my plans were cancelled!

No professionalism or customer service. I would give this place no stars if I could. I was given an ETA of 120 minutes before someone would be able to tow me which is a stretch when your waiting late at night. I was told I needed to wait with my car when I could've easily walked home in half the time. After waiting over 2 hours in the middle of the night, alone and in the cold, I called to see what the status was of the tow truck. The guy tells me that his truck broke down and there is no tow truck coming. Seriously!?!?! No call or nothing to notify me and by now it's 2:30 AM. Terrible

After waiting four hours for another local tow service, I resorted to calling Perlman's. They arrived promptly, only 10 minutes later than the initial time I was given (come to find out they were held up at an accident before). Their company uses a GPS tracking system so they are able to tell you the exact location of the tow truck when it's on its way to your location - super convenient!
The driver was very polite and and treated my car as if it was his own. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and great service. I cannot speak for the price since the tow was covered

Shame on you MAVIS TIRE in EAST GREENBUSH! I would not bring my daughters tricycle back there to have you put air in the tires. I may be a "female" and you may think that I have not been around the block with an automobile. You are sooooo wrong!
This "woman" just cost you your commission off 4 tires and went to Simpletire.com , ordered online and saved myself a boat load of money.

Perlman's towed my vehicle, caused $500 worth of damage, and subsequently denied and provided false information during the course of an insurance investigation. I would give them no stars if possible. Not much more to say about this place. Pretty clear cut poor business practice as far as I'm concerned.

These guys helped me out when my ignition broke. It took a while for them to get to my car, about 2 hours. But lets be honest, we were hit with one of the worst snow storms ever. They were busy so its understandable
Now when the guy came, I was having difficulty getting a ride back to my house. The driver offered to ride me to my house rather than leaving me there! He was super polite too, and they were able to fix it at a great price! Quickly at that

Horrible service. Told at 8pm they would be out in 120 minutes. 2 hours later, they said another 90 minutes. At midnight they said they couldn't accommodate me until the morning - first thing at 6am. Needless to say they never showed up. Not sure how they run a business this way. Not even proactive to call and tell me they were having issues. Use someone else !!!

Short and sweet: Gotta say these guys are top notch. I had a problem with my BMW (long story short, don't buy a BMW these days because they aren't what they used to be) and Keeler recommended Perlman's. It wasn't an emergency (the car was in my driveway) and it was a bit out of their normal area, but they still got a guy over here and got it to Keeler ASAP. Great service and some really great people.
