My name is David Day, and I am the owner and operator of Montana Bullion & Coin. I began trading metals around 2008, in the midst of the housing-bubble, and subsequent bank bailouts. I have always been a firm believer in physical tangible assets, and as the stock market was then plummeting, I protected and grew my savings with physical gold and silver.
In 2013 I was hired on at a precious metals exchange in Missoula, Montana. With what I had learned trading metals on the other side of the counter, I had an immediate knack for buying and selling precious metals, and most importantly helping others avoid the pitfalls of first-time metals investing.

I brought in some jewelry that I inherited from my late mother to see what I could get for it. David was an absolute pleasure to work with. He took the time to really look and inspect each piece. I had a lot to go through! He genuinely cared, and was sensitive to the loss of my mother. His offer was quite fair. He is honest, and we WILL do business again. I highly recommend him, and his business. Oh and I should mention that I initially went to Grizzly Gold & Silver for an offer on the exact lot that I presented to David. Grizzly's offer was $3,910.00 LESS than what I accepted from Montana Bullion

David is willing to make reasonable accommodations for me to buy gold and silver and thats been hard to find. He has delivered exceptional customer service while offering competitive prices. He would have a perfect 5 stars rating if not for 1 non-specific, one star review from a seemingly nefarious non customer. He has worked hard for my five stars and I'm glad to give it.
