Went to this place for my birthday after spending the day hiking in Acadia. They were very accommodating with seating us right away. They squeezed us in before a reservation and it worked out perfectly because we sat on their cute patio in the front with views of the harbor and the street. The food was amazing and our waiter was very attentive and nice to speak with. The vide in the restaurant seems fancy but it's pretty laid back! We were in hiking clothes and another tables was on a bar crawl and had onesies and fun hats on

Oh my!! Geddy's, you won our hearts over with the brick oven pizza and fantastically crispy fish and chips.

The moment you step into the restaurant, you're hit with the smell of the sea: seafood and saltwater. You know you're in Maine!

The cherry on top was our kind waiters and servers, who made sure our sodas were topped off and that we got our food orders as quickly as possible!

Y'all you got to check this place out. Right near the water in downtown bar harbor is this little incredibly good restaurant, that is worth your hard earned money. For dinner I had the calamari for the app, the Maine lobster roll for the dinner and obviously a slice of the blueberry pie. Every single item was better than the last and it was just so incredibly good. The cost was a little up there, but in my opinion it was well worth the price really really good food, and truly a real taste of Maine if I've ever had one. I can't wait to come back here in the summer when they are rolling

Bar Harbor has scads of dining options. Last August, we chose Geddy's in part because we were promised a seat "with a view" when making a reservation, and we figured "It's Maine, the seafood has to be good."

Well, the view turned out to be of the men's bathroom door and the food wasn't much better.
My toddler had the men's room to his right and wasted tourists a few feet behind him at the bar. (One actually fell off her stool onto the floor)
This was not a family friendly place to sit. We were told it was the only option.

He was probably happiest

I walked in to the restaurant and it seemed really clean. The girl at the front was very polite, cheerful and helpful.
Timothy was our server. He was prompt, friendly courteous and an excellent waiter. Having been to thousands of restaurants I know a good well trained waitstaff when I see it.
We were served Pepsi which was very quickly dispensed. He served our clam chowder bowls for us. Love the bowls.. The chowder was some of the best I've tasted with plenty of crackers and all condiments were on the table which is amazing. We had fish and chips. The fries were excellent. Very crispy on the

Such awesome vibes at this place! Quite an extensive menu with so many great options to choose from. The service was super quick and friendly. My friends and I ordered the calamari, clam chowder, and lobster roll and we were very pleased with everything! Super fresh and delicious. Would definitely come back here if I'm in Maine again.

Its ok. Service was pretty good. Wasnt too impressed that my toddler found someones dirty mask on the seat and put it on. I guess that shows the cleaning level here.

The kids had pizza which wasnt the worst I've ever had but didn't get finished and didnt impress anyone. I had the chowder which was actually pretty good. My husband had a burger which also didnt get finished. I had a local beer which was great. I believe it was a seadog blueberry ale. My husband had a glass of crianza which tasted like the bottle had been open for a while.

Wouldn't really bother going back.

Cute, convenient spot that was walkable from our B&B. Restaurant gives off a cool, almost dive bar vibe. There are high top tables, seats at the bar, and conventional tables and chairs/ booths. We came on a Saturday and Sunday night (only a few restaurants opened during off season).
On a Saturday night, we waited about an hour for a table for 2. We wanted to grab a drink while we waited, but the hosts denied us.
Overall, food was good. Not overly delicious, but definitely hit the spot. Beers on tap and in cans, good variety of IPAs. Can't complain. Prices were a bit pricey for the food

After a not so great Maine seafood experience we decided to give Geddyā€™s a try on our last night in Maine. I made a 3:00 reservation, which is a must. (Even off peak, the week past Columbus Day). We arrived at 2:45 and our table was ready by 2:50. The hostess was great!
Once seated our waitress immediately got us drinks. They have a large assortment of drink options and local beer. The kids drink came with little lizard toys which were a lifesaver for my 3 year old.
We had the calamari appetizer. Itā€™s a sweet/spicy mix that I LOVE on calamari. My husband didnā€™t like it, so maybe ere on

Highest prices on Main Street but a fun atmosphere, Geddy's is most certainly for tourists. The whole lobster and lobster roll are good but not that much more outstanding than other places in Arcadia. Clams are unfortunately sandy. What you get here is access to walk on Main Street. If you don't make reservations or walk in before 7 for the waitlist, you'll likely not be getting dinner here - but you'd probably get a better meal for cheaper at any roadside lobster shack. Don't come too late or they run out of blueberry pie

I came in with no expectations and left with a shirt that says Geddy's. Boy, what an amazing restaurant huh? This place has, no lie, the best clam chowder I've ever had in my life.

I ordered the mini lobster bake meal which came with a lobster roll, clam chowder, and a blueberry pastry. It was amazing! However, it was a little bit small and I had just done a big hike so I ordered a second clam chowder to top myself off.

Geddy's is a really amazing restaurant and their gift shop has a nice variety of options as well. I can see why they have been in business so long.

Pretty mediocre restaurant. Everything was pretty average, to be expected since this is such a tourist area.

Came here for lunch one day, and we order the lobster salad, and the lobster roll combo to share. The lobster roll combo was pretty good included three items all of them were pretty small in terms of portion size. The lobster roll was OK, very small and the bread roll was a bit dry and not very tasty. The lobster salad special was terrible, for $30 you got a tiny little bit of salad and a tiny portion of lobster, it was smaller than an appetizer.

Service was OK, could be spotty at times

The restaurant has a fun and lively vibe. Food comes out quickly but everything else is slowā€¦but thatā€™s because of how packed they are.
I tried the giggle juice and it was good. The Atlantic seafood pie was amazing and I loved it. It was a bit too much for one person though. The Calamari was different from other places and extremely delicious. But the winner has to be the Maine blueberry pie!! It was incredible. Its definitely a must try.
Itā€™s no surprise that Geddys is one of the most popular restaurants in Bar Harbor.
Reservations during peak seasons are a must!

This place is an institution for locals and a must see for tourists. Excellent, locally sourced seafood and plenty for non-seafood fans. The ambiance is over-the-top but fun. The view is only from the front few tables. It is family friendly place but it also has a bar in the center of the restaurant serving a wide variety of cocktails and beers. The calamari is fantastic, the mussels are cheesy, the hamburger is satisfying with or with out a bun. You can substitute a salad for the fries for a small up-charge. The pizzas are made in house and are a major draw for my family.

It was a busy Wednesday night and we had about a 25 minute wait for a table. The place was lively and packed. Our waiter was very helpful and gave lots of suggestions as we tried to decide, because everything on the menu looked so good. We could have ordered almost everything on the menu but we settled on steamed clams, fried calamari and lobster bake. Everything was so tasty. Also, when in Maine, have an Allagash beer with your meal.

The staff was friendly and the order was ready pretty quick. Unfortunately, they didnt get the order right the first time and I had to go back to get the side of sweet potato fries we had ordered and not received. They were quick and friendly to replace it. My only other complaint is regarding the bacon on the cheeseburger. It specifically says "crispy bacon" on the menu and I also requested well done. However, it was half cooked, soft and floppy. We just pulled it off and threw it away, since we had taken our food to go and didn't want to go back a third time. This place is a nice spot with easy

This is probably the best place we ate at Bar Harbor. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the amount that we got.

My favorite was the drink I got, which I believe was a piƱa colada which was named different and I can not recall.

The Salmon is cooked to perfection, not dry and not too undercooked. The mussels where very tasty and served with a delicious slice of bread.

The pizza was really good and my fiance and I managed to finish the pizza even when we were feeling full. That's how good it was. Overall the place is decorated with unique knick knacks and the place has a

Good food. Very cool restaurant. I like the vibe at this place. You'll see large families and college students come to eat and drink here.

We started with the Crispy Calamari with Sweet Chili Sauce and I thought it was excellent. I had the Shrimp and Scallop Scampi. It was pretty good.

Service was good too. Price is what's expected for Bar Harbor. We didn't need reservations and were seated pretty promptly even though they were crowded.

Everyone loved eating at Getty's. We had trouble in the evening time. A group of 6 always is tough. We tried at noon the next day and walked right in. Everyone ate well. The pizza was great the hamburger was even better. My daughter said the fish sandwich was good as well. The kids hot dogs disappeared immediately. The only meal that wasn't loved was the kids noodle meal. Not because it was bad it just didn't have the Alfredo a
Sauce a 5 year old was expecting. Cost wise it was on par with everything else. For 6 of us was just under $100 not including the tip, and the included drinks. For the

A friend and I came in on a weekday evening and Geddy's was one of the few restaurants still open after 8pm. We were able to be seated right away and service was quick. I ordered the Quinoa, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, & Burrata and my friend ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke. My meal was just okay and my friend appreciated that they provided plenty of tuna in her meal.

I'd probably come back in the future and try other items on the menu. This visit didn't blow us away, but is a good option if you prefer a later dinner.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Bar Harbor. I was here in early May, and there were a lot of restaurants that were stilled closed, but I came here everyday for a meal while staying in bar harbor.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful. Their cocktails were delicious. But most importantly, their food was so good! They were one of the only restaurants that had lobster rolls while I was there. However I opted to get the ahi tuna poke the first time which was delicious. It had huge chunks of ahi tuna, seaweed salad, avocado and reasonably priced, and definitely filling! For appetizer my

The lobster roll and clam chowder were amazing, along with the French fries!! We walked down the street about 500 feet and found two restaurants on the water that offered the small menu at about half the price though.

The nachos tasted funny and the shrimp didn't have much flavor so those two items were disappointing.

The Nor'easter drink was SO GOOD - the giggle juice was just okay.

The service was extremely fast - our food came out hot and within 10 mins of ordering!!

After a 4-hour long drive from Georgetown, MA, I prayed to baby Jesus something might be open. I searched savagely for places to eat in Bar Harbor and most came up as closed for the season and reopening in April or May. Geddy's on Main St- came up as closing at 8pm so we placed our pickup order about 45 minutes away.

Restaurant seems large, has good pub looks with a nautical theme. Because of Maine's high COVID numbers, Geddy's is just doing a 25% indoor capacity as opposed to NY's 50. Even if we wanted to sit at the bar, Geddy's has no partitions but they strictly keep
