HPD was started in 1986 by Mervyn Herson after immigrating to the US from South Africa. He started building cabinets and running the business from home but soon outgrew the garage and moved into a larger space. After many successful years of running a referral based business, he was joined by his son and together they continue to grow the business.
Today, HPD operates a large shop with the ability the manufacture custom cabinets as well as fabricate slab stone surfaces.
