Real life isn't perfect. It isn't posed. Sometimes it isn't pretty. But it makes you feel. And I want you to have photographs that when you look at them, you will remember the little details, and how they made you feel. I've spent my life wishing to capture real moments on camera and approaching the everyday from an artistic and natural viewpoint.
Whether it's a birth story, a family with a newborn, a Day in the Life session, or an event, my goal is to create images that capture the essence of a person, the emotion and atmosphere of the setting, and the connection between you and those you love. I am an observer. I am always looking for the subtle touches or emotions or movements that have impact. I'm waiting to see when the beauty happens in the midst of the chaos and capturing it all. I keep my eye out for the important details that matter. I watch for the moments that I know will happen when people are being authentic and connecting with each other.
Once you get in touch, we'll chat about the kind of session you're looking for and set a date, time, and location. Or we can meet up in person, by Zoom, whatever! Your session fee or deposit reserves a spot for you in my calendar. I have plenty of tips for all types of sessions. Mostly I think everyone looks best when they're comfortable and wearing something that feels like them.

Lori at Everyday Artistry Photography recently took our son's senior pictures. From beginning to end she was professional, kind, and so easy to work with. The pictures are amazing and we had a very hard time narrowing down our selections! She is an outstanding photographer and I highly recommend her.

Lori did an outdoor family photo shoot for us in October. She was extremely responsive, very reasonably priced and quite flexible in terms of scheduling. But most importantly, she captured some truly beautiful photos - both posed and documentary-style. It was no small feat given that we have two young and highly energetic boys but she got some great shots of them individually and together (and of the four of us). I'd highly recommend her!

I was introduced to Lori through a senior portrait she did of my great nephew early in the fall. I was so impressed with her work that we asked for an outside photo session for a family portrait in early November despite pandemic restrictions. We bothered her with multiple requests for poses and groupings and Lori did an amazing job to get us all into a variety of interesting combinations. When the digital proof sheets arrived I was thrilled to see that she had captured the essence of everyone. Age range was six to seventy and our own personalities and our relation to each other came through clearly
