Dr. Josh grew up in Manhattan where he was adopted by a Jewish family, hence his last name Prensky. Dr. Josh started as an architect major in CCNY's 5 year architecture program, but decided to take his artistic skills and pursue dentistry at NYU where he met Dr Frank. After graduating in 2005, he completed a dental residency at Jamaica Hospital with Dr Tarantino.

Nicole graduated Farmingdale State College in 2012 with her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She started working at South Shore Aesthetic Dentistry right after graduation while pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene, which she received in 2014. Nicole has developed a strong and lasting relationship with so many of our patients.

I have been looking for a dentist for about 2 years since my forget dentist retired (I was with that office for 25 years). I had my cleaning and had to come back for a filling and crown. Both visits were amazing. Not only is the staff friendly and knowledgeable, but this office has amazing state of the art equipment. I think I’ve finally found a new dentist!

After having a rough experience with Invisalign with a different dentist, I was looking for someone to bond 2 of my teeth and give me a retainer. My first appointment was pleasant, but felt rushed and the staff seemed uninterested in my case. Months later, I decided to go through with the bonding, as I was desperate for my teeth to be fixed. Truly a 5 star experience, every time I go there I feel as I'm going to the most prestigious dentist office in NY because that truly is what it is! It doesn't look or feel like your typical dentist office- it's SO much nicer! If you aren't used to having calming dental visits, try South Shore Aesthetic Dentistry! After not having gone to the dentist in upwards of 10 years due to not having dental insurance I had a good bit of work that needed to be done and every appointment was smooth and seamless, the doctors are so friendly and the staff is sweet as well.
