South Sioux Animal Hospital was founded over 50 years ago, and was owned by Dr. Robert Billiar for much of that time. Dr. Brooke Gilbert purchased the practice in 2013, continuing the commitment to Siouxland's pets. We are a full service veterinary hospital offering everything needed for quality animal care.
Annual wellness examinations are very important to provide the best preventative care for your pet. We recommend annual examinations and tailor vaccine etiquette to fit your pets' needs. By providing high quality pet health and wellness services we will assist your pet in living a longer, happier, and healthier life.
South Sioux Animal Hospital is a one-stop shop for your pet's needs. In addition to our veterinary services, we provide bathing and grooming of cats and dogs. Because we love animals as much as you do, we understand that leaving them in an unfamiliar place can be worrisome for both of you. New client here! Now, I am definitely not an easy cat mom for vets to work with, because I am an anxious cat mom who is obsessed with her kittos. That being said, Dr. Gamm shows me/us grace, care, and understanding. She takes the time to talk through my concerns and come up with a plan I feel comfortable with for my kittos. We are super grateful for her patience and thoroughness and are happy to have found our new veterinary home since moving here.
