James R. Mabry graduated from the University of Oklahoma. He was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army. He Served in Vietnam as an artillery officer. After being honorably discharged from the service, he attended Baylor College of Dentistry. Where he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
