SoutheastTree.com was the first company to contact me from my request through Angi. I was contacted by Lindsey within two hours, She was very personable and “on the ball.” Colin, the company owner and an arborist, came the following day, and his quote was reasonable, (versus the overcharge of several other quotes.) To remove trees in our area it is necessary to have a permit, which is not easily nor quickly obtainable. Lindsey called within three days to say she had the required permit!
Two crews were onsite within two more days. In one day (!) they removed three enormous trees in the backyard

We hired Southeasttree.com to remove some trees that were leaning over our neighbor’s home and located on a hill in addition to needing some tree pruning. The crew was excellent and very friendly. We all appreciated how safe and efficient they were while removing the problem trees. The cleanup and complete tree removal was great. Gave a very fair price for some difficult tree removal work (leaning over the house at a pretty severe degree). I had 4 full grown trees removed total. I got another quote from an off the books type guy who priced it double what southeast tree quoted me, and for only 3 of those trees. The Owner, Colin, is a trained arborist and was very helpful in identifying another tree that would give me issues down the road at my new home. The crew showed up on time and got right to work. These men were very professional, they worked quickly and efficiently. I felt they had the difficult situations well under control with the large trees over the house. They did more than I expected in terms of clean up. They left a very nice work area behind. I will definitely use them again, and would highly recommend.

Great price and quick turnaround time from when I requested they come (24 hours). The crew that worked at the house did great work and communicated with me throughout to ensure that they were meeting my expectations. What a pleasure it was to deal with Colin and his crew. We just moved into our new home which was in desperate need of tree removal and trimming. Colin came out on a Thursday to walk the property and give us a quote. By Friday the next day at 1pm the work was done. 4 trees removed and entire property heavily trimmed. The crew was amazing. I hired Colin, and his team, because I thought I was receiving a fair price, and he appeared to be very professional. Turns out it was a mistake. I paid him $1,700 in full before I saw the work (admittedly this was my mistake). They left huge craters in my lawn (over 7 feet in length) from dropping sections of tree. My lawn was completely destroyed, even though he told me they would put down boards to protect the grass. I also now have a stump with green spray paint on top of it because his stump grinder never removed a stump that I paid him to remove.

Southeast Tree is the best company I've ever dealt with. David came out to give me a quote with everything lined out in writing, and provided me with all the insurance paperwork. They removed 8 trees, trimmed several big trees, and cleaned up some tree limbs alone my property line with very reasonable price. They accommodated my schedule and showed up on time. David and his team were very professional. They worked with very high efficiency. Each person knew their responsibilities. I enjoyed watching their team work. I have already recommended David and his crew to some of my friends.

Southeast Tree removed a large dead/dying oak from my property. Before even agreeing to use them, they secured a permit for me with no obligation. (Saving me what I can imagine would have been quite a hassle.) Access to the tree was severely limited, but the crew was able to drop the tree with minimal damage to the surrounding landscaping. Highly recommend this company for your difficult jobs!

The company could not keep its appointment to give me an estimate. I left work early twice and was stood up both times. After the first missed appointment, I called Collin and he said he would personally come the following evening between 5:30 and 6:00 to my house. I left work to be home by 5:30 and he never showed. If they cannot show up to even win your business, how can they be reliable to get the job done?
